I saw him thirty minutes ago
These statements were murmured all over the room at random.
The creep (Paul is his name) stands at the front of the room and waits for for silence.
We all stare at him expectantly
"Well do to this sudden,and unexpected turn of events training will be canceled for two weeks."
Somethings not right...
"Your meal will be served shortly please enjoy" he gives a false sympathetic smile and exits the room.
I look at Anise and i see the same questioning look on her face.
This isn't right at all the last candidates left just five minutes ago and didn't stop to shower sadly.So that means it had to take about 5 minutes give or take a few. But then how did someone get into the castle without getting caught unless someone inside had it out for him. I get up and leave the room
"Hey did you hear what happened?"
"No.." My ecort says looking at me strangely
"The trainer got killed but somethings not adding up." I begin to explain but he cuts me off
"Raina you shouldn't go digging into things that dont concern you"
"But somethings wrong i can feel it"
"Raina let it go"
I ignore him and walk towards the training room. I hear him murmer something about "always getting the stubborn ones." But nonetheless follows
We quickly start making our way back down the hall, and As we approach the training room door i hold my finger to my lips,and put my ear to the door.
I think there buying it
What now?
We need to start taking out the royals.
Lets start with the queen
I hear a low malicious chuckle
Chop of the head and the rest crumble.
This'll be fun
Meet me in the gardens at midnight we'll discuss then.
i hear footsteps head toward the door. I whip around quickly looking at my escort panic clear in my eyes.
Act casual he mouths to me
He walks past the door me following behind
"And that down there is the library"
I nod pretending like i hadn't noticed Paul walk out the training room.
My escort continues to babble about a good book. But my thoughts are elsewhere. Why kill the queen I know about power but what do they need to change he's rich powerful and well known what else could you ask for
I glance behind myself and see paul round the corner.
"What now"he whispers
I give him a wicked smile "meet me in my rooms at 11:00 sharp"

"Raina..."
"What" i say pulling on my boots
"Look at me"
"No"
"Please"
I sigh and look at him
"What" i say impatience gnawing at me
"What are you trying to accomplish out of this." He says exasperatedly
"Im trying to figure out what the flipping cheeseballs is going on in the place"
He looks dryly back at me
I sigh "do you really believe that the most well guarded place in the 1st province got infiltrated then the person kills the captain of the guard in approximately 5 minutes flat" he doesn't answer
"Yeah mean neither it has to be someone who's already inside the castle. How can we be sure he's even dead"
I here him grunt in frustration " i cant believe im arguing with you about this. i dont even know your name for goodness sakes"
"Dorian"
"Well Dorian if you want to help me you'll come with me to the garden."
I get up and head towards the door,and see him hesitation clear on his face.
"Well are you in or out"
He opens his mouth and then closes it shaking his head
"I should've expected as much from coward"
