The fabulous four have just gone out on their daily running of the zones, the trans-am's engine roaring in the same rebellious spirit that her passengers have. They all thought it was a normal morning when they left the comfort of their dinner base that they all call home. It wasn't until they reached zone four that they found something odd. At first the killjoys thought it was a fallen minion of BL/Ind, the Draculoids. Upon closer inspection they discovered that it was still alive and breathing. Three of them pulled out their ray guns, but the fourth stayed unwary of the moving body in front of him. He inched closer to it, not wanting to scare them. He was about to touch the person's shoulder when they yawned and sat up. It wasn't just a person; it was a little girl around the age of nine. The others put their guns down.
"Hello, who are you?" she asked with innocence.
"I'm Party Poison, what's your name?" the man said in a calm voice not wanting to scare her.
"That's a funny name!" she laughed, "I don't know if I even have a name, I must have forgotten it." She looked down at her bare feet, digging into the red sand beneath her.
"Where's your family, miss no name?" Party Poison asked, sweeping his long bright red hair behind his ear. "Surely you can't be out here on your own."
She giggled at the nickname. "I don't have a family; I've just escaped from BL/ind."
Party Poison turned to the others, a look of worry and dread in his eyes. Turning back to the young girl, he put his hand on her shoulder. "Come with us, we'll keep you safe."
"So are you my family now?" she asked with hope in her eyes. She got up off the ground, and took his hand, just to make sure he was real and not just a dehydrated hallucination.
"Yes, we're your family."
