Chapter 16: Mall Day

Tate's POV

As Nancy, Michael and I walk to meet the rest of the group I think back as to what Jontel said at lunch about her having a friend who I may be interested in. I wonder if She invited her to join us at the mall. "Tate...?" Nancy giggles. "Huh, what?" I say snapping back into reality. "You completely zoned out. What are you thinking about?" She asks. "Just wondering if Jontel invited her friend that she mentioned at lunch," I say, smiling. "I'm not sure, honey. Maybe she texted her to meet us here." Nancy says as she rubs my arm. "Maybe so," I say smiling as Michael pats me on my back.

Jontel's POV

After meeting Tate at lunch, I decided to text my friend Allie to see if she wanted to meet us at the mall.  Me: Hey Allie, what are you doing right now? 

Allie: Um, I need to go shopping for my prom dress even though I still don't have a date :/ Why what's up?

Me: Well about that, I have someone I'd like you to meet. Meet us at the Mall in 15? please?

Allie: Sure! Thanks, babe! Meet you at the food court?

Me: Absolutely, my pleasure! I'll see you soon <3

After texting Allie, I smiled at Luke as he was driving toward the mall. "What is it, Princess?" Luke said leaning over to kiss my lips sweetly after we stopped at a red light. "I'm excited to see how Tate and Allie are gonna click," I say giggle. "I'm sure they'll click just fine," Luke says taking my hand.

Michael's POV

Once we all arrived at the food court, Nancy walked up to introduce Tate to the group once again. "Hey guys, remember Tate?" Nancy asks smiling at him. "Hey, guys," Tate says smiling shyly. Jontel smiles. "Tate I would like to introduce you to my friend Allie," Jontel says. A beautiful long haired, blondish brown haired girl walked over and smiles at the group then finally locked eyes on Tate. "Hey, I'm Allie," Allie said blushing and smiling. "Hi Allie, I'm Tate," Tate said smiling at Allie and we all started walking together. I looked at Nancy and took her hand in mine. I admired how beautiful she was and smiled happily. She is everything to me; I couldn't imagine my life without her in it. She's my foundation, my rock, my future. I love this girl more than anything in the world. "Let's go, ladies, Time to shop!" Nancy says excitedly as she pulls me along with her into the dress shop. Four hours and about 100 dresses later, each of the 4 girls found the dress of their dreams, and now we had to go get Ashton, Tate, and Myself a suit and tie to match the girls' dresses. Luke had pre-ordered his suit so he just needed to buy a tie to match Jontel's dress. Allie had Tate's hand pulling him with her happily and we all secretly know they would end up going to prom together. Luke stopped to talk to me about how to set up Allie and Tate officially as a couple. "The only thing I know to do is to get him alone at lunch at school to talk to him about asking her out and tell the girls to do the same with Allie to get her prepared for Tate to ask her out. Nancy came up to me and made a cute pouty face at me. "What is it, baby?" I asked smiling at her cuteness. "We forgot shoes," Nancy said pouting as I wrapped my arm around her shoulder. "We'll go right to the tux shop if you want, Babygirl," I say kissing her head. Nancy smiled and nodded. "Okay baby!" She said kissing me on my cheek as we all walked into the Tuxedo shop. "Okay since my dress is fuchsia pink, you can either chose Black tux with a Fuchsia Tie or a Black Suit with Pink White shirt and Fuchsia tie...?" Nancy says looking through suits. I smile.
"The black suit with white shirt and pink tie looks really good," I answer her smiling. The smile on Nancy's face makes her whole face radiate with happiness. Ashton, Luke, and Tate choose their ties matching Kaci's red dress, Jontel's blue dress, and Allie's Purple dress. "Baby, is it time to get shoes?" Nancy asks excitedly. "Of course baby girl," I smile and chuckle as we all go to the shoe store.

Kaci's POV

As Jontel, Allie, Nancy and I walk in to get our shoes for prom, Gretchen, the school's bitchiest head cheerleader walks in with the rest of the cheerleading squad. "Shit," Nancy says looking at the girls. I sighed and held Ashton's hand. "What is it, babe?" Ashton says quietly in my ear. "It's the cheerleading squad... They hate us and makes our lives a living hell..." I whisper, keeping my eyes anywhere besides the cheerleaders. "Not while I'm here they won't baby," Ashton said, kissing my head. I smiled and kissed him softly. Just then the girls saw us. "Look who it is... the four wannabes," Gretchen sneered, earning a laugh from the squad. "Can't you find something better to do with your lives than bother us?" Nancy said holding Michael's hand. "We were doing just that until you bitches came into the same vicinity as us," Gretchen said glaring at us. "Look whoever the hell you are, you have no right to be talking to my girlfriend or any of these girls like that, now the best thing for you to do is to go mind your own business and leave them the fuck alone," Ashton said glaring at Gretchen and the rest of the group. "Yeah, we all know the reason that you fuck with our girls is you secretly wish you had all the stuff and real friends they have. They don't have to be fake, they have all the things you pretend to have and more. So, get your head out of your ass and get the fuck out of our lives you stupid twats." Michael says, kissing Nancy on her cheek. "Plus they have us. Which none of you ever will." Luke says, chuckling. "Ooooh!" Gretchen exclaims as she stomps away angrily. "Babe that was amazing! Thank you!" I said to Ashton hugging him tightly as he whispers that he would do it anytime for me. "I'm so proud to call you my boyfriend, Mikey!" Nancy said looking up at Michael. "I'm proud to call you my future, princess," Michael says kissing Nancy softly. "Now guys can we please find our shoes?" Allie giggles. Nancy and I smile. "Please, then we can all go home..." I giggle. "Yeah, Miss Allie and I have to get to know one another." Tate smiles and wraps his arm around Allie's waist. "Yes, we do!" Allie giggles as we all search for the perfect shoes to end this eventful day.
