"Home sweet home." Mark's voice was still raspy from disuse. Sam fidgeted.

"Um... I should probably clean up a little..." He ran off towards the guest room. He looked at the walls covered in black and he grimaced.

He reached towards it. Maybe he could-

"Ah, jaesus! Upon contact the ooze started covering his hand. He yanked away, leaving a nasty burn on the back of his hand. Ow.

The ooze had shied away from where his hand had been, leaving a palm shaped mark. Curiosity got the better of him, and he plunged both hands into the ooze. It burned, but only for a moment. Then it was gone the sludge had shrunk again. Sam was able to make quick work of the rest of the gunk.


Hey guys! I realize this chapter is mostly filler, but there is something you may not have picked up on.

Essentially, Sam was 'cleansing' the demon-slime. So now he's sort of like an anti-demon? I hope you understand that.

And for those of you wondering, YES, there WILL be a sequel. I will alert you as to when I start working on it, but for now I'm starting to encounter a demon of my own called 'Writer's Block'.
