Sam staggered down the hallway, Monday's had never been his favorite day to wake up at five in the morning. But to be fair, neither were the other 4 days of the school week.
He was dreading art class. He knew that by now the rumors had more than likely made their way back to Ms. Hael, he was almost willing to bet on it.
The thing was, he wasn't ready for confrontation, he wouldn't know what to say. Sure, he could deny it and lie about it all he wanted, but he knew that if he didn't confess when questioned, they would dig deeper for answers, and Sam wasn't always known for being very good at covering his tracks when enraged. He knew Ms. Hael wouldn't let go of this easily.
He walked into the classroom, walking directly towards the back while avoiding eye contact with anyone and everyone. He sat at the same table he sat at every class, it was getting to the point where he would feel out of place sitting somewhere else.
Students began filling the classroom rather quickly at that point. Sam glanced at the door just as the bell rang to see a perky Gabriel stride in like he owned the place. How the hell can he be THIS awake on a Monday?
Sam smiled as he locked eyes with Gabriel, Gabriel waving and smiling back like an overexcited child.
Gabriel walked over, Sam scooting over so he could sit next to him. "Got any more of that?" Sam scoffed in amusement.
Gabriel quirked an eyebrow, "Any more of what?"
"Whatever has you so exuberant, and not to mention conscious this early in the morning." Sam teased.
Gabriel laughed, "Sure! Let me just reach in here and..." He reached in his pocket and made a lollipop appear in his hand before pulling it back out, "Suckers work like a charm" He joked, offering the sweet to Sam.
Sam gasped dramatically, placing a hand over his chest in sarcasm, "You shouldn't have!" he laughed, taking the lollipop from Gabriel.
"Better feel special Samsquatch, I don't give out my candy to just anyone y'know."
Sam blushed slightly, quietly removing the wrapper of the sucker. "I bet."
"Alright, class" Ms. Hael began, "I want you to draw something inspired by this photo." She pulled up a picture on the projector of a bright orange leaf laying on the ground, presumably taken in the Fall judging by all of the dead leaves surrounding it.
The students all began working, "Oh, Sam Winchester?" Ms. Hael called out to the class, "Can you come up here please?"
Everyone simultaneously reverted their eyes towards the back of the classroom where Sam sat, "Uh, Yes Ms. Hael" Sam responded, slightly nervous now.
"I assume you are aware of the rumors being spread about you?" She questioned, not bothering to be quiet.
"Yes, I am aware." He responded.
"Well," she sighed, "are they true?"
Sam sighed as well, "As a teacher I would assume that you have already considered that physically impossible, am I wrong?"
"Well, no... but-"
"Agh, you caught me. I vividly remember using the force to pour paint all over you."
Sam began playing with his hands, trying to focus on his words more than anything. He wasn't the best at controlling his powers when he was upset, and he didn't want to find out what would happen when he's nervous.
Ms. Hael glared, "Well you could have easily used strings or wires." she accused.
"I appreciate the friendly accusation, but I did not set up wires or strings or anything of the sort. Although, I can't say that I wouldn't, you're pretty funny when you're mad." Sam joked bitterly.
