Chapter 15:
Blake's POV
"Today is the big day," I said to myself and smiled.
"Lookin' good," I said again as I finished putting my tie on. There was only one thing left for me to do, shave. I'm not very fond of shaving, but I know Camie likes it when I'm clean shaven. The good thing about this is I shave every other day so I'm just doing my clean up for today.
"Blake hurry up we've got 5 minutes until we're supposed to go get the girls...oh and the limo is already here!" I heard Luke shout from downstairs. Quickly, and in a hurry, I rinsed my face off and dried off heading downstairs to meet him. Just recently Luke and I became buds, it's all because of our mates being sisters, but that's not all of it. I found out that Luke and I shared some things in common, like how I have no parents. Luke also doesn't have parents, he told me a couple days ago that his parents died when he was very young so his older brother, Ex, had to take care of him. He also mentioned that when he turned 16 his brother threw him out and Luke was forced to fend for himself. I told him I was sorry, but I could relate to how he felt and everything. When my parents were gone I had to raise my little sister Zariah. One of the funny things is, Luke and I both act alike because of what happened to us. We're going to be great friends, and of course brother-in-laws.
Silently I shook my thoughts off and looked at Luke who was a little scruffy still.
"Man don't you wanna shave a little, clean up?" I asked looking at him and chuckling.
"I thought about it, but then I remembered Rose likes when I'm scruffy, so I didn't shave. I know it's homecoming and I should have shaved, but I'm sticking to what my girl likes on me," he replied giving me a smirk.
On that note we grabbed the corsages and left the house getting into the limo. Once we reached the girls home Luke and I both got out waited anxiously for the girls.
Luke's POV
I stood outside by the limo waiting nervously for my love to come out. Tonight was her night, I was going to treat her like a princess. I'm not as romantic as I seem though, and I sometimes always mess things up, but tonight I was going to make it perfect for her.
I watched slowly as the door opened revealing Camie who came out first, she looked beautiful and had a radiant smile on her face when she saw Blake. My heart started beating faster and faster on a race to see my love. My forehead was starting to sweat and I was feeling even more nervous than I felt before. Once I saw her in the threshold of the door my heart stopped. She looked exactly like a princess she was so beautiful. Not to act like a stalker, but I watched as she closed and locked the door. She was wearing both our favorite color, dark green, it looked amazing on her. When she reached me I took her hand and kissed it, putting the corsage on her wrist. When I looked up at her, her eyes were sparkling with joy. And to think just a couple days ago this wasn't my Rose, which meant this night was to be more special than ever.
"Oh Luke!" She said wrapping her arms around my waist. Even in 2 inch high heels she still was way shorter than I am.
We all got into the limo and were on our way to the homecoming dance. One thought though, I'm not big on dances like these unless I have Rose with me. It took about an hour to get pictures and everything, I was happy because this was the first homecoming I ever went to with the love of my life. I was also going to get some of those pictures we got. We got back into the limo after pictures and we went to the dance.
I helped Rose out of the limo and as a group we all walked into the banquet hall together.
Camie's POV
The inside of the banquet hall was beautiful. There were pretty decorations everywhere, it was like a wedding only more for teenagers. I looked around a bit and smiled at how the place was set up. There was a dance floor for dancing, and tables with pitchers of pop and water for relaxing. Tonight was going to be great, I got my sister back, I had my mate with me, what more could I ask for.
I watched as Rose and Luke made their way to the sign in table and I followed them hand in hand with Blake. As soon as we signed in we went straight to the photo booth. I wanted some pictures of just Blake and I acting silly and stuff. There was about six photos on each photo strip.
Our first photo was of us looking into each others eyes. The second was of us sticking our tongues out silly at each other. Third was the silly face photo. The fourth picture was of us hugging each other. Our fifth picture was of him kissing my cheek, and my face blushing. Last picture we took for our photo strip was of us kissing. That personally was my favorite picture and we made two copies of the photo strip.
Blake found a table for all four of us to set our stuff and I smiled at him before getting a glass of water. I took a sip of water and then he pulled me to the dance floor while they were playing a slow song. Blake and I were dancing so close that an adult chaperone had to pull us apart, even though we weren't doing anything but dancing.
Over all the dances to me were good, they played mostly slow dances and when they played a different song in between it was to lighten the mood and get everyone hyped up. It was great and I didn't want it to end, but it would soon.
"Blake.." I cut off for a second looking at him. "Thank you for this special night." I finally spit out smiling at him.
He leaned down and kissed my cheek then whispered, "this night isn't over yet."
Rose's POV
The dancing was amazing, when they played a hyped up song everyone was hyped up. It was amazing and when they played the slow songs, everyone was chilled. Luke pulled me close to him as we started to dance to the music.
"Luke...I..." I couldn't say anything else, and in the middle of my words he leaned down and kissed me. I kissed him back and felt the flush on my cheeks grow warmer than it was.
"Lets get some pictures," I told Luke and he pulled me into the photo booth with him. We took about a dozen pictures.
The first picture strip we took was of us just being silly. The second one, each photo we took was different. Our last picture was of us kissing. The fifth was of me kissing his cheek, and the fourth was him kissing my cheek. Our third picture was of us holding up the corsage and boutonnière and the second picture was of us hugging each other. Our last picture we took was of us looking into each others eyes. Personally I loved the last picture but I liked all of them. We got two copies of each strip and I gave one copy of each to Luke.
He then pulled me to him and started dancing us to the dance floor. I was feeling joy and dizziness. The joy was because of him, and the dizziness was because of the dancing. Then Luke looked at the time and shook his head.
"We're late. C'mon we have to get Blake" he said and we rushed over to the table gathering our things.
"Where are we going?" Camie and I asked at the same time. Our question was soon to be answered.
We left the dining hall and got into the limo. We were left unknowing about where we were going and what we would be doing there.
