Chapter 10:

Camie’s POV

I thought it was best that I show Rose around, while Blake showed Luke around. Me and Rose started on the inside and around the house, while Blake took Luke to the borders and showed him the grounds.

"So Rose, what's it like being Alpha in River pack?"

"Not sure yet. The only ones who know are me, Luke and Lauren."

"Why haven't you said anything?"

"I need training first. Which is why I came here. Hoping when you and Blake go to learn, I could too."

"That's complicated unless we're planning on uniting the packs."

"We could do it. As long as the guys agree."

"Anyways. Off pack crap. Look what I had put in just for you." We walked out the back doors of the pack house into the back garden which was full of Rose bushes.

"Just for me? All these Rose bushes?"

"Yeah, cause it wasn't home without Rose." We went back inside and I showed her all the rooms. We had a game room, a tv room, the kitchen, dining room, cafeteria, library, movie room, and the debate room.

"Wow this makes out pack house look small."

"Well me and Blake also live her. Rivers pack house isn't the Alpha house so it makes a difference."

"True." We were just like our old selves again. Giggling and laughing like kids.

"Camie did you hear that?"

"Probably just a pup learning his or her shifting abilities"

"Didn't sound like a pup."

Suddenly a large black wolf jumped through the window and grabbed Rose by the arm thrashing her back and forth. He bit harder causing her to scream in pain. I shifted quickly and lunged at him, grabbing him by the throat as I bit into his flesh, feeling his warm blood began to seep out of his gashes. He whimpered in pain but never let go, poor Rose was going pale from blood loss. Finally I twisted my head cause his neck to snap and he fell limp to the ground. Rose jumped from his mouth holding her injured arm close to her as the blood poured out.

Blake's POV

Me and Luke went to the borders, as I showed him around our grounds.

"Nice fighting pit. Please tell me you don't pin wolf on wolf?"

"Only to settle argument. It keeps people safe."

"Makes sense. You guys have a training hall?"

"Right this way" I showed him in as people lunged across the room, teachers screamed for bad technique an young ones watched.

"You ever give lesson?"

"Actually once a week I fight anyone who wishes. Only for fun though never for rank."

"Nice."

We left the training hall and talked about our packs. Explaining to each other our best and worst wolves in battle, explaining our lifestyles and living habits, and how they differed. As we left we both felt a disturbing presence and we knew it wasn't good or alone.

"Please tell me you have outer guards?

"Nope"

We shifted and waited. Suddenly from somewhere behind us we hear a growl and a noise. Out of no where three deep gray wolves jumped out and surrounded us. Two went straight for Luke and one grabbed his hind leg and ripped it open causing him to howl out in pain. I lunged at one of the two a got knocked out by the third. When I came too, Luke was passed out and only one wolf remained. He said only four words and ran. "We. Will. Be. Back."

I grabbed Luke and hurled him onto my back and ran for the pack house. As I got there I smelled more blood and wasn't sure what to think. Who was hurt and why?

"Blake!" I heard Camie's voice and saw Rose out cold on the floor. I put Luke down and ran for the pack doctor, as I shifted on the way
