"Andry you can't miss another day" Elle explained.
"Look Elle it's gonna be quick I promise, just tell Ms.Marian that I'll be a little late because a teacher told me to stay after class, please" I begged.
"... Fine but it better not be 20 minutes because you'll be in so much trouble"
"Okay thanks"
I run towards Mr.Evans classroom and see that the door is closed completely, usually it's open but it isn't this time. I open the door and see a small lady that must be a teacher that's on the other side of his desk speaking to him. I give him a slight smile and make my way to my seat and sit down.
"I'll just ask tomorrow alright?" She says and he nods his head with a bored expression.
She exits the classroom as he follows behind her and closes the door & locks it. I lay my chin on my hand and watch him walk towards my desk and stops beside the opening.
"Make it quick or Ms.Marian is gonna yell at me" I said chuckling slightly.
"Alright, I was going to ask if you could meet me in the field after your dance class" He asks and I give him a confused look.
"But it's gonna be dark once I get out"
"Don't worry we're not gonna stay there, I just wanna show you something"
"Alright but you could've told me on the piece of paper"
"I wanted to hear your voice"
I smile widely and look down at my lap as I fidget around with my fingers. He grabs the tip of my chin and lifts it up making me want to just grab his face and kiss it but I know that this might not be a good time because if we make a scene it'll last so long that'll I'll be late for dance.
"I'm gonna have to get to dance now... I'll see you?" I questions and get up from the desk and notice that when I stand up I'm close to him.
"Yeah okay..." He said softly.
I give him a small smile and maneuver my way through the desk before exiting the classroom.

"Thank god you made it" Elle said relieved.
"Of course I made it" I say.
"I'm just relieved, Ms.Marian would have kicked you out if you missed another class"
"... wait, what?"
"Weren't you listening?"
"Yeah I was, but what do you mean kick me out?"
"You can't miss 2 days of dance or you'll get kicked out for not attending it. You miss one day that means you miss parts of the routine, the next day should be when you catch up but when you don't come you'll be more behind and there's no way we have time to go over old moves"
That's stupid, if I can't miss 2 days of dance then I have to keep dissing Mr.Ian but I mean this is for me audition for Juilliard and that's what I have to focus on, nothing else.
The whole class was much more energetic than the past few classes but I'm glad it's like this because it was boring at first but now I see why Elle likes to go to dance. Before class was about to end Ms.Marian called me up to her desk while everyone got to go over the dance.
"Ms.Barrington," She began "I'm going to have to make this a little difficult for you but this is just to test you on how committed you are in attending my class. You cannot miss another class this whole month and if you break that, I promise you that you will not stand very long in this studio. Got it?"
I nod my head, "Yes ma'am" I gulp and turn back finding Elle holding out my bag to me.
"... What happened?" She questioned as I take my bag from her hand.
"She told me I can't miss a class this whole month or I'm not gonna be 'standing very long in this studio'" I say rolling my eyes.
"Well, we might as well go to Lopers"
"To practice? What time?"
"Lets go right now!"
"Wait what? Elle I have something planned, maybe meet up around 8?"
"What's more important than getting into Juilliard?"
She was right, this whole audition thing was gonna have to take so much work on, I have to practice nonstop.
"... Okay just let me tell someone that I have to cancel the plans" I said and immediately ran to the football field where I found Mr.Ian talking to the same teacher.
I roll my eyes and walk over to him trying to mouth 'I can't go' but apparently he can't read mouths. After waiting minutes for the other teacher to finish, I went up to him.
"I can't go, I have to go practice for dance at some other studio" I say and see his smile fade.
"Could you see me after that dance studio?" He questions but I shook my head immediately.
"No, I'm sorry"
"... Alright, I'll see you tomorrow?"
"Yeah"
I give him a small smile and quickly jog back to the studio where Elle is at still standing in the same place where I left her, weirdo.
