"Sooo" I finally speak and break the awkward silence that was in the air for the past 5 minutes as she was sipping her coffee, "We just gonna sit here and drink or?"

"What's with you and Mr.Evan?" She questions and sets down her cup of coffee after minutes of holding it up against her face.

My heart started to race as if she was onto something. It's like she knew something was up with him and I. If she did know then it'd basically ruin our friendship, well that's what I predict cause I know she wouldn't approve. I didn't want to ruin anything right now, not before graduation. Not what I have with Liam or my friendship with Leah and others. I don't wanna be alone after this.

I knew I had to play as if I had no clue what she was talking about just to not ruin the relationships I have with the both of them.

I furrow my eyebrows in confusion, "What're you talking about?"

"... Andry, I am your best friend meaning you can tell me whatever the hell you have on your chest cause you know you can trust me with it cause I won't say anything. If there is something going on between the both of you, please I am just begging for a simple yes or no answer"

I had no choice. It's like she already knew what to say to break me, I want to tell her it's just that having someone know about us is so risky cause if someone knew, they'd say something and that'd get Liam into jail. As for me, well I'm not even sure.

But this is Leah. My best friend who I trust with anything that I have to say and if I can tell her about the most sensitive topic that will break me into a million tears then I can tell her this.

"... yes" I quietly respond hanging my head to chest as I bite my lip.

She sighs, "Thank you, that's all I wanted to hear... So, is it like a relationship type of thing?"

"What?"
"You guys don't know how to whisper and that kiss you blew was pretty loud"
"Agh fuck"
"It's okay, I won't say anything or tell anyone I promise. I just want you to know that it's risky to be in something like this"
"Yeah I know"

I grab my cup of tea and take big sips anxiously as I watch Leah's expressions carefully just to be sure she isn't over thinking about the whole situation.

"So what're you guys going to do right after you graduate? Isn't he like curious on your choice much more than anyone?" She asks and takes a drink of her coffee.

I pucker my lips to side responding unsurely, "Honestly I have no idea. He wants to move to wherever I'm going for my career but the problem is is that I'm not even sure if my choice will keep us together."

"Whatdya mean?"
"You'll understand right after I tell you what my decision is"
"You've made a choice?! Oh my god what is it? Where are you going? Is it near Harvard?"

I shake my head, "I won't tell anyone till after graduation so let's just keep those questions in till I tell everyone."

She sighs, "Alright. As long as you're one hundred percent sure about it and happy with the choice then I'm happy for you."

I give her a small smile before resting my head on my hand as I watch the inside of my cup spin around.

I really do hope I can trust Leah with this kind of secret. It's different from all the things I've told her but this one is major that if anyone else knew, it'd be my fault that Liam is behind bars.
