Where are you

The people in white opened the door to Jungkook's room. They were earlier today. Usually they wouldn't come in until about an hour after breakfast to give him his medicine, but today it was just 10 minutes.

Jungkook choked down his meds cooperatively. The thought of Taehyung coming today kept him pliant. It was really the only thing that drove him nowadays. Taehyung was the only thing he looked forward to.

Jungkook waited for the people in white to leave, but to his dismay, only more showed up. One lady pulled a small black suitcase behind her, one held a syringe in her hand, and two bigger men that Jungkook had never seen before followed in behind them. The room felt cramped with the 7 extra people there. And Jungkook felt extremely uncomfortable with the change of schedule that the people in white tried so hard to keep.

"Jungkook," said the lady with the syringe. "You're going to be going on a trip today."

Trip? Jungkook thought. What kind of trip could I possibly go on with these people? But his main interest was whether he would be going outside or not. How long would he be outside if he got to go at all. But his thoughts were interrupted when the two large men grabbed his arms.

"If you don't struggle, it will be a lot easier for everyone okay?" Said the lady in white. She followed behind Jungkook as he was carried, no, dragged out of the room by the men.

But though they walked towards the doors to go outside, Jungkook could help but wriggle in the men's arms. Struggling, despite being told not to. As much as he wanted to leave, something in him told him he couldn't. Taehyung wouldn't know where he is. He wouldn't be able to see Taehyung.

Jungkook tried relentlessly to escape the men's large hands, wanting to run back to his painfully white room and bury himself in those dull sheets, because that's where Taehyung would find him. But now, Taehyung wouldn't know where to go to find him.

Jungkook screamed out choked up noises, making his struggling sound incredibly painful. He yelled, hoping Taehyung would be there, hoping he would hear him, and come save him.

"Taehyung!" He yelled so loud, other kids in his room could hear him. He hadn't planned on making a scene, but he needed Taehyung. He needed him to hear him.

Suddenly, he felt a sharp, deep pain in his arm and everything went black.

"One of each please," Taehyung smiled at the young girl at the flower shop.

"Are you sure?" She asked. "That's a pretty big bouquet."

Taehyung and the girl laughed softly, then he nodded, "I'm sure."

The girl took the immense amount of money Taehyung paid for the flowers and then went to the back of the store to put the bouquet together.

Taehyung smiled to himself. Jungkook is going to be so happy. He thought. And just that made him happy himself. He imagined Jungkook looking at the different colors in every flower. Awing bright hues of the petals. He'd probably smile so big and squeal with happiness.

Taehyung's heart fluttered. He didn't know where this sudden affection came from. Maybe it was the way he was acting after he had taken his medicine yesterday. The questions he asked that Taehyung couldn't properly answer. He remembers how hard his heart was pounding with Jungkook's head resting on his chest. He could probably feel it.

Minuets later, the girl came out with a basket full of flowers of ever kind. White lilies, purple irises, yellow sunflowers, pink tulips, and more that Taehyung couldn't even name. He thanked the girl for giving him a giant basket for free, because that many flowers wouldn't fit in the regular paper and plastic wrapping. He then waved as he went out the front door with the dinging of a small bell above his head.

He didn't think he could drive to the hospital fast enough. He must have been going 10 miles per hour above the speed limit. Taehyung wanted to get to Jungkook as fast as possible.

He pulled into a parking spot near the door and took the basket from the passenger seat. He speed walked to the door, and stopped at the front desk to check in.

"Good morning," Taehyung said to the usual lady in white behind the desk. She returned him with an insincere smile. Then, as Taehyung began to sign his name on the barely filled sign-in sheet, she stopped him.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Kim, but you can't see Jungkook today."

Taehyung was taken aback by the comment and suddenly, a fire was lit in his eyes.

"Why not?" He asked, trying his best to not go off right away.

"He's not here," she sighed.

Taehyung's fists clenched and he spoke through gritted teeth.

"Where is he?"

"We can tell you that, I'm sorry Mr. Kim."

"Well why the hell not?!" Taehyung slammed his fist onto the desk.

"Mr. Kim please calm down-"

"I'll calm down when I know exactly where Jeon Jungkook is!"

"I'm sorry, but I'm not allowed to tell you that. You should be able to know by tomorrow alright?"

"That's not fast enough!" Taehyung tried swallowing the lump in his throat, holding back the tears that threatened to prick at his eyes. His anger was turning to sadness, as he couldn't stand the fact that he had no confirmation that Jungkook was safe.

"I'm sorry Mr. Kim. Come back tomorrow and I'll be able to let you know depending on the circumstances."

Taehyung sighed and reluctantly turned around to leave. He couldn't stand not knowing where Jungkook was.
