"He's where?!" Taehyung said to Jungkook's doctor. He came to the institution as soon as he woke up that morning. The fact that he didn't know where Jungkook was, was eating away at him. The unsettling feeling in his stomach made him want to throw up. And his heart ached for the uncertainty of Jungkook's safety.

"The medical Lab in Seoul. It's a well renowned place I'm sure he's fine," the doctor replied.

"I can go there right?" Taehyung said with anxiety in his voice. He was insanely worried for Jungkook. He knew where he was now at least. But he didn't know why he was there, or what they were going to do to him. It drove him crazy.

"Yes. But I'm not sure if they'll let you see him."

"I don't care," Taehyung said. "I'll try anything as long as I can see him."

The doctor let out a long sign.

"Mr. Kim, I know how much you care about Jungkook, but can't you just understand that his condition is serious? It's not some college students business to be dealing with a special case patient."

Taehyung's body tensed up. He didn't care about anything this man was telling him. If Jungkook was in Seoul, that's where Taehyung was going. That was it. He left the institution without another word to Jungkook's doctor and headed to this laboratory where they were keeping Jungkook.

-

"Alright Jungkook. I want you to be super relaxed okay?" Said Dr. Kim, softly to Jungkook who sat on the table in the big white room. Jungkook nodded slightly but pliantly. The soft spoken words of the doctor connecting with him in a calming way that was different from the way that any of the people in white had talked to him his whole life.

"Remember to say something if it hurts alright?"

He nodded again.

Carefully, Dr. Kim took a scalpel from the little metal tray and pushed it into Jungkook's skin, not deep enough to seriously damage anything, but enough to where a regular person might lose consciousness from he pain. He slid the knife 6 inches down the outside of Jungkook's right arm. Blood poured from the gash and Jungkook watched.

The image he had seen from his dreams were deemed untrue as the only color that flowed from his skin was red. Deep, dark red, and he was a bit disappointed.

"How does it feel?" Dr. Kim asked Jungkook.

"Nothing," the boy mumbled almost inaudibly.

People in the room scrawled a million words that Jungkook's didn't know on to clip boards. Dr. Kim guided them in exactly what to write for some type of official records.

Minutes went by and Jungkook was starting to feel light headed. The blood that had dripped down to his fingers was drying, making his hands sticky.

"Dr. Kim?" Jungkook said meekly. His eyes were heavy and he swayed back and fourth, losing his balance slowly. Through blurry vision, he saw Dr. Kim turn and run to him, grabbing a wet cloth before pressing it to his wound, then he found himself staring at the insides of his eyelids.

-

"Dr. Kim, there's someone here for you," the lady said with her head stuck into the office door. Taehyung shifted on his toes, waiting anxiously to have a conversation with the last person who saw Jungkook.

"Send them in," said a voice from behind the door. The lady moved out of the way and Taehyung entered the room to see a tall handsome man who couldn't possibly be a doctor. He was insanely young.

"Hello," he said with a smile that sent off an immediate bad vibe to Taehyung, but at the same time, it was a good first impression. "I'm Dr. Kim Seokjin."

The doctor reached out his hand for Taehyung to shake, but it was left disregarded.

"I need to see Jeon Jungkook," he said flatly. He didn't feel bad about getting straight to the point. That's what he was here for anyways.

"Oh," Seokjin said, taken aback by Taehyung demanding tone. "And whys that?"

Seokjin sat in his chair and leaned back with his legs crossed. He looked like a real doctor at this moment. It made Taehyung's skin crawl.

"I'm his best friend," Taehyung started. "I'm the only person he feels comfortable talking to. I need to know he's safe. I can't stand not knowing where he is, or what is going on. With his condition I don't-"

"Sir," Seokjin interrupted. "I'm sorry, but we can't just let anyone into our lab. I can confirm Jungkook's safety and if you would like to give me your information I can update you on how he's doing each day?"

Taehyung practically had steam coming out of his ears. No way was someone else going to tell him he can't see Jungkook. He stepped closer to the doctor.

"Look, doctor, I'm a psychology student. I happen to know a whole lot about his disorder. My independent study is keeping track of his progress as a patient. I have every right to see him right now, and I know he wants to see me as well. If you don't let me, you'll have two angry people on your hands."

There was a brief pause as Taehyung caught his breath and Seokjin was deep in thought. Taehyung watched him, wondering what he could possibly be talking about.

"What's your name?" He asked curiously.

"Kim Taehyung."
