I will spare you the details of me and my family's painful reunion and the first week at the Burrow. It basically consisted of my twin brother, Ronald, ignoring me, my sister, Ginny, giving me sad looks and my parents, Molly and Arthur, barely tolerating the bare sight of me. No one spoke to me or spent time with me and I spent most part of the days outside in the garden or on the field, next to the house. I was either reading or sending letters to Draco.

My family didn't even tell me when dinner was served so I had to trust my gut when it came to food. If I was hungry, I should hurry inside, because the food would almost always stand there on the table, cold. For breakfast I would be lucky to get a piece of the delicious eggs that Molly cooked for us every morning. I wasn't complaining about any of it though, if you spend three years ignoring your family, they won't treat you like a prince when you come back. Actually, they treated me like a stranger. But I was thankful, I really was. I didn't really expect that they would just welcome me with open arms, maybe just close the door in my face.

So the first week of summer break was just me alone, outside on a field. I picked at the grass, talked to the roosters and bathed in the sun. The four other members of the family who was present was pretending I wasn't there, which was fine by me. It could have been worse.

Once a while, a lady named Tonks would join us for dinner. I didn't really know Tonks before I met her at the third night spent at the Burrow, but I liked her. She was the only one who didn't deny my presence there and actually spoke to me. She even complimented me on my dyed, pitch black hair. Sometimes she would change her appearance, which was very cool, and if I was lucky she would even match her hair with mine. And she was nice, even though I could tell that something was a little off.

Ginny and Ronald avoided talking too much with her, which was always a sign that something wasn't really right. I didn't ask her though, in case it would be something really personal. I didn't know her that well yet. However, the days when she was there, was the best. It was nice with some talking and movement in the house, and someone acknowledging me.

This might sound insane, but I missed the rest of the family being there as well. The summers I spent in the house as a kid, there would always be someone laughing or walking around. With five of my brothers moved out and Arthur who spent most days at work, it was very empty and lonely. I didn't suspect that it would change if Fred and George turned up though, they would be just as rude as always, but it would bring some company for my two siblings. I just felt like the tension was being heightened with me there, and if everybody could just relax, that would be lovely.

After a week, two familiar faces showed up on the doorstep. First it was Hermione, who was apparently going to spend the entire summer with us. I wasn't very surprised that no one had told me, no one had even said hello to me. Hermione did though, she has always been nice that one. I greeted her back but I didn't talk too much with her. I could see Ronald sending me these glancesand boy, I could take a hint. I don't know why he's worrying about me.

The second person who came to visit was Fleur Delacour, who I of course remember from the Triwizard tournament. It seems like people had forgotten to tell me about her and Bill's wedding as well! Alright, I'm joking, I'm not taken aback by that either. It was exactly like I had imagined it would be like.

The only thing that shocked me a tiny bit was everybody's attitude towards Fleur. It felt like no one liked her, or tolerated her. The only exception seemed to be Ronald, who had a crush on the veela. I couldn't blame my brother though, she was incredibly beautiful.

That sums up the first week pretty well and leads me up til the day when Harry Potter arrived.

I lay awake for a long time without wanting to sleep. Molly was kind enough to lend me Fred and George's room, which means I got the biggest one in the house. The twins moved out not long ago, to stay in the flat above their new shop.
