Chapter 30 Casual Day

-Calienia's P.O.V.-

I was sitting on the couch reading while Crystal looked out the window for anyone who looked suspicious. After some thought, I decided to keep the baby. But with a baby comes great responsibilities, especially when it's the Kazekage's child. Crystal was ordered to protect me and the baby while he was at work. I was reading magazines on one, weddings, and two, children. I know it's silly...

I wish my mother was alive so I could ask her how she felt when she first got pregnant and when she decided to get married. I smiled sadly at the thought of my mother. She was the best mother of all in my eyes. She was so wise and open minded, she didn't care what we were or how we acted, she always loved me and my siblings. The thought of siblings brought Ankara to my mind, this made me sad... How could she join up with the Akatsuki? And why would she do it?

It all just didn't make the slightest bit of sense to me... Crystal looked at me and tilted her head.

"Something wrong Cali-Chan?"

"Oh...uh...well.... I-I was just thinking about my sister is all.."

"You have family?"

"I did..." I trailed off. "You see... father left us when I was just a little girl and I only recently discovered he was alive and well. My older brother and mother had their lives taken in an explosion. My sister I just discovered is alive to only... she's with the Akatsuki now.."

"I-I'm so sorry.. I didn't mean to-

"It's fine Crystal." I smiled at her. "What about you? Do you have any family?"

Crystal smiled sadly. "I lost my father when I was six years old and my mother went mentally unstable after that. My little sister was adopted into the Kurosenso family when I was eight and she was six. I wasn't really adopted by any families do to my animal like appearance. I'm only granted permission to see my little sister every time to time. But once it was found out my ancestor was the third Kazekage, my sensei took me in and taught me many things. I even learned the iron sand technique." Crystal's smile turned more warn and I frowned a bit.

"So...your without your family to? No uncle's or aunt's or cousins?"

"Not that I'm aware of. What about you? You never mentioned any uncle's or cousins or any of that."

"Well my father's brother died and I don't know of any other living family he has. But my entire clan was wiped out in the explosion."

"Oh..."

"Don't feel bad, everyone has their own problems."

"Yeah but... your entire clan?"

I smiled sadly. "I'm afraid so. But I still have living family so that's all that matters. Just like how your sister is still out there."

Crystal smiled and nodded then we heard a knock at the door. I was about to stand up but Crystal held out a hand signaling me to stop. She went over to the door and looked through the peep hole, then cracked the door open.

"Can I help you?"

"I got a package here for miss Moonsilver?"

I relaxed on the couch while Crystal took care of the situation. When she came back over with a large box, she examined and opened it while being cautious. I smiled when I saw it was alright.

"It's my wedding dress." I smiled as I got up and ran my fingers over the silky material. "I ordered it last week at the dress shop and they said they'd send it to me."

"It's pretty." Crystal smiled and I nodded.

"It's made with a special material we often use in my homeland, I was so happy to find out it was used here in Suna to." I picked up my dress and held it close while looking at Crystal. "Should I try it on?"

"Of course, how else are you to know if it fits or not?"

I nodded. "Can you finish putting the invitations in the envolopes for me?"

"Sure."

I left for the bedroom to try on my dress, leaving Crystal with the wedding duties. Just because I was getting ready to have a baby doesn't mean I was going to give up on my wedding. Me and Gaara decided to get married on the beach where we'd both be happy. It was going to be a beach at the borders of Konoha and Suna so that our Konoha friends could come and the Kage's could still quickly get back to their villages if they must.

I came out and did a little twirl and Crystal smiled. "You look beautiful."

I smiled brightly. "Thanks, it took me awhile to decide on the colors."

"Your really fond of purple and blue aren't you?"

"Well I feel connected to the color blue because it's the color of the sea, however purple and white is the colors of my clan symbol. Though I haven't worn my symbol for some time now..." I trailed off. "Well I better go put this back now that I know this fits."

"Alright, and Calienia?"

"Yeah?"

"Who's James Storm and Rose Nariko?"

I smiled hearing those two names. "There old friends of mine from back when my village was still standing. I got a strange letter one day and it lead me to having an adventure with several people."

"So they'll be coming to the wedding?"

"I hope they will. I haven't seen them in so long, I don't even know if they'll remember me. Hopefully their addresses haven't changed or sending those invitations will be hell."

I headed back into mine and Gaara's room and got changed out of my dress. I had been telling Crystal many stories of my life and passed. Sometimes she seems really interested in my stories, others she just felt sorry she asked. I couldn't help but smile at some of my memories, I mean they weren't all that bad. Some were some of the best moments in my entire life.

When I came out of the room wearing my casual clothes, I smiled at Crystal. "Hey, what do you say we take a break from all this and go on a walk?"

"Ok, just give me a second, I have one last invitation..." Crystal trailed off, sealing the envelope. "There! All done!"

I blinked. "Done already?"

"Mhm, it was pretty easy actually."

I shrugged it off. "Alright, shall we go?"

Crystal nodded and grabbed her scroll, sliding it on her back before we left. It was a bright and beautiful sunny day in Suna and I couldn't help but just admire it all.
