Chapter Four

Lyla's P.O.V.

"Happy Friendship Anniversary!!" we shouted happily.

Me, Aileen and Ian were inside a mall. It's our 4th Friendship Anniversary! So we were bonding to each other. We've been friends since 1st year highschool. They're my one and only friends. True friends to be exact.

Oh my gosh! We bought a lot of super duper cute things that we could find. Well, most of us. Ian just stood behind us and watched at me and Aileen.

He is like our oldest brother keeping an eye on us little sissies.

"Are you two done now?" Ian asked.

I placed my index finger under my chin as if I'm thinking.

"Hmm. . . nope." I said while popping the 'p'.

Aileen giggled and looked away. Her eyes widened and she stiffed. Ian and I noticed it. So we looked to the direction where she looked at. My eyes widened when I saw Luke and his friends were walking towards us.

"Well hello." Luke said with a sweet smile.

"H-hello." I said while looking at him.

Why is he here? I mean, I didn't know that he goes to malls too. Sure I barely know him but I didn't thought that he would also go to a place like this.

That's what they say 'don't judge a book by its cover'.

"What's with the stare?" Luke asked.

I looked away in embarrassment.

"Nothing." I simply said while hiding my embarrassed face.

"What did the two of you bought?" He asked.

"Just some stuff." I answered.

"Uhmm. . . we should go now bye!" I said while dragging Aileen and Ian.

"Wait!"- Luke

I stopped and looked at him with a 'what' look.

"We're eating somewhere. You should join us." he said.

Before I could said anything he walked towards me and dragged me.

"But my friends--"- Me

"Let's go guys." He said to Aileen and Ian.

They simply nod. I can't believe these two just agreed to him! This is suppose to be our time to spend together!

I'm stuffed. These food were really delicious! I think it's good that Luke brought us here. We were all chatting together and laughed together. Its a good thing, even Aileen's uneasiness were faded.

"Thanks Luke!" I flashed him a warm smile.

"My pleasure." He said.

"I think I should go now. It's getting dark." Aileen said.

"Why? Are you by chance afraid to the dark?" Zach said jokingly.

"Hahaha funny." Aileen sarcastically said.

Zack just smirked at her.

"Zach will drive you home." Luke suddenly said.

Aileen's eyes widened. I covered my mouth trying not to laugh at her reaction.
