Chapter Eleven

Luke's P.O.V.

After the practice, I went to the club where Lyla worked before. I went inside the club and observed other people. They're just talking to each other, dancing all around. I ordered a drink from the bartender and gave me the drink. Then a girl stepped on the stage with a guy. Wait, actually I know those two! They're Aileen and Ian! Do they work here or something?

"Good Evening guys! How are you all doing?" Aileen asked all the customers.

"We're fine!!" The customers respond.

"Okay. We're going to sing a song for our dear friend who passed away in such an early age. This is a Tagalog song and actually, this is the first time that we're going to sing a Tagalog song. So, we hope you'll like it."

Ian strum the guitar while Aileen sang the song.

Aileen:

"Kung ang buhay ay isang umagang naka ngiti,

At ikaw ay ang lupang sinusuyo ng bituin.

Di mo man silip ang langit

Di mo man silip, ito'y nandirito pa rin

Kung ang lahat ay may katapusan,

Itong paglalakbay ay makakarating din sa paruruonan

At sa iyong paglisan,

Ang tanging pabaon ko ay pag-ibig"

I'm really impress with my sisters voice. I can feel her emotions just by listening well to her song. Good thing we have our mom's talent. I just continued listening to them.

Aileen:

"Sa pagbuhos ng ulan,

Sa haplos ng hangin

Ala-ala mo ay naka-ukit,

Sa pisngi ng langit"

Then it was Ian's turn to sing.

Ian:

"Di man umihip ang hangin,

Di man umihip, ika'y nandirito pa rin."

Then they sang together.

A.I:

"Kung ang lahat ay may katapusan,

Itong paglalakbay ay makakarating din sa paruruonan

At sa iyong paglisan,

Ang tanging pabaon ko ay pag-ibig."

They finished singing. Then the crowds go wild. They loved her and Ian. They went off the stage and I drank up my drink then left it on the table. I'm done paying it so I'm good to go.

I saw Aileen and Ian talked to a man. Hmm..... must be the manager because he gave them both some money. Aileen and Ian went outside. I followed them and saw Ian waving at Aileen. Then Aileen started walking away.

"Aileen!!" I called her. She turned around in shocked when she found out that it was me. I ran to her side and talked to her.

"So, how are you?" I asked.

"I- I'm fine...... I guess." she answered.

"I'm sorry." I suddenly said.

"For what?" she asked.

"I.... wasn't there when... Lyla...." I said hesitantly.

"Oh.... that. Don't worry, I'm fine." she smiled but I saw sadness in her eyes.

"And besides, why do you worry so much? Are you like my brother or something?" she asked.

"Well, that is what I wanted to say..." I said. She looked at me with a puzzled face. I took a very deep breath then finally said it.

"Aileen?" she's waiting for me to continue.

"I'm your.... eldest brother."

"WHAT?!"

A/N: I'm sorry if this chapter is so short. The real objective of this chapter is for Luke to finally talk to Aileen and say that he is Aileen's eldest brother. Now, he finally said it and I'm glad that I never have to worry about it again. Anyways, prepare for the next chapter guys. A new character will be revealed... I guess.
