The walk

The next day, I don’t know what time it was, but I'm guessing it was one in the afternoon. When I got up off the couch, I saw Mikey's face in front of me smiling that just got me to stand still.

"Um.....Good Morning, Mikey."

"Hey. What do ya think of the movie?"

"Ugh, don't remind me. Um, Leo? Do you know if it's safe to go out in the surface?"

Just then, Splinter hit me with his walking stick. When the stick connected to my back knee, I fell down to my knees.

"Absolutely not. The people up in the surface don't get along with us around."

"Don't you think I know that?!?! I almost got discovered by a couple people, but they didn't say anything!! If they did, everyone would be looking for us by now!!!"

Then Raph came up to me and punched me in the face.

"DON'TCHA EVA' YELL AT OUR MASTER LIKE THAT!!!!"

"DIDN'T YA EVER HEARD OF TO NEVER TOUCH A WOMAN?!?!?!"

"YA AIN'T NO WOMAN!!! WHY DON'T YA JUST LEAVE AND GET OUT OF OUR LIVES!!! NOBODY WANTED YA HEAR BESIDES MIKEY!!! AND HE'S STUPID TO WANT YA STILL LIVIN' HEAR!!!

I felt like I got slapped in the face. I mean, I knew I didn't belong here, but it still hurts when he said it out loud. I grabbed my cloak and ran out of there as fast as I can. I just kept on running blindly; I didn't care where I go, as long as I don't see them again. I ran for hours and I stopped under a man hole. As I'm panting, I heard a crash. Curiosity took over and I carefully got out of the man hole. I didn't see anything until I heard another crash. I climbed up the building's fire escape and went up to the roofs. As I stared down, I saw what seemed like a car accident happened. I then suddenly saw someone I noticed right away.

'That's Jacob. I wonder if my boyfriend knows what happened to me.'

I climbed down the fire escape and hid in the shadows, listening on the conversation he's having with his friend, Eddie.

"Come on, Jake. She's gone, let's face it. You need to move on."

"I don't know Ed. I still love Rose. I mean, what if she's still alive?"

"The cops said they couldn't find any traces of her. So how do you know she's not dead?"

"How do you know if she's still alive?"

"Touché."

"It's just that...I just have a felling that's she's still alive."

I couldn't believe what I'm hearing. They thought I was dead? I didn't want to hear more, so I just turned around and walked around the city on the rooftops

"I CAN'T BELEIVE THAT ROSE IS GONE!!!"

I stopped on my tracks and listened carefully.

"Honey, calm down. I'm pretty sure she hadn't gone that far."

I soon realize it was my parents. I wanted to tell them that I am alive and I turned into a mutant. But I guess they wouldn't believe me and call the FBI. I walked some more until it was getting dark. I was about to head back to the lair and remembered what happened earlier. I sighed and then remembered that I was supposed to tell Shredder where they live. I felt like I should but I also felt that it was wrong. I then got the feeling that someone was watching me. I looked around and realize that nobody was here and made my decision. I turned and went straight to the Foot's building.
