Finding Rose

New Friend

"Rose!! Rose, wake up!!"

I opened my eyes and I saw that Leo was looking at me concerned. I looked around and I saw that we were back in the lair. I snapped out of the couch, grabbed Leo's shoulders and shook him.

"You idiot!!! Why are we here!!! Alicia was still in there!!!"

He grabbed my wrists and pries them off of him.

"We took care of that. Although we were a little too late."

"What do you mean?"

He turned and I looked where he was staring. There was a dark room and I saw nothing, until it came into the light. A green leg popped out of the shadows and I saw a mutant turtle that had long brown hair and brown eyes. I had no clue who she was until she spoke.

"That scientist looking bastard did this."

"Alicia?"

"Yeah, mija. It's me."

I looked at her up and down and I lost it. I grabbed my double bladed fans and threw them at a random spot. I punched the wall and I didn't care if blood was coming out of my knuckles. I was mad at him for turning Alicia like me, she didn't deserve it. And I was mad at myself for not getting her out of there in time. I was about to punch the wall again, when I felt something hold me back and I saw Alicia holding onto my wrist.

"Calm down, chica. It ain't so bad."

"Really?!?! It's bad!! What about your family?!?!?!?"

"I ran away when I was sixteen. My mother was a crack head and my father was in jail for smuggling drugs. I ran away and I had a better life. But hey, this might be cool."

Splinter came out of the shadows and she didn't faint, or even freak out about a huge rat walking towards her. She turned to me and told me that she had met him earlier when I was out. I walked to the TVs and I realized that every time we are in a battle, I would always seem to be knocked out. Alicia walked to me when she finished talking and I turned and asked Splinter,

"Where is she going to sleep?"

He replied, "She is staying in your room until we could find one for her."

"Fine by me. I don't mind."

I showed her to my room and she looked behind her uncomfortably and walked into my room after me. She sat on my bed and asked,

"So am I going to walk around naked or what?"

I remembered that the guys had bandanas, belts, elbow and knee pads, Splinter had a rode, I had my belt from Usagi with the yin and yang belt buckle from Leo, and some grey wrist bands that I made, along with silver anklets. I walked to my closet and I saw my sewing kit and the little light bulb on top of my head lit up. I walked out of my room and I asked Mikey for his trench coat and hat. I then walked to Raph and asked for his, too. Once I had them, I threw Raph's to Alicia and I put on Mikey's.

"Let's go."

"Where?"

"To the surface. I have money and I have an idea."

“Are we going shopping?"

"For fabric."

We walked out of the lair, after telling the others where we were going and we walked to the surface. We walked from block to block until we hit a craft store. We walked around, trying to look for some fabric and I saw Alicia grab and aquamarine fabric with dark blue butterflies that looked like blood splatter and I pulled out a dark blue and aquamarine ribbons. We both smiled and she went to a different aisle and grabbed a sketch pad and pencils. I grabbed some myself and we went to pay our stuff. We walked and we saw McDonald's a block away. I grabbed my Shell Cell and dialed a number; I knew it was going to be one of the guys, so I picked a random number.
