Invisibility: Fail

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!?!? YOU GAVE ME AWAY, YOUR ONLY CHILD, SO YOU CAN GET MONEY?!?!?!"

Mom and Dad just stared at me in horror as I gave them an angry stare. Mom's eyes gotten even wader and she came close to me. She stared deep into my eyes, then her eyes were as huge as saucer plates.

"C-Clover? Is that really you?"

"Of course it me, mom!!!"

Then my mom came up, and gave me a hard stare.

"How do we know that you're our daughter?"

"Mom, do you remember the day that I ran off somewhere and I came back with a slash on my back?"

"Y-yes."

"Well, if you look on my shell, you'll see that slash on it."

At first, they were hesitant, but then they went to my back side. I heard my mom gasp and my dad's breathing had stopped. I turned around and gave them a 'are you satisfied?' look. My mom came up to me and hugged me. She looked at me with a teary happy face and said,

"Oh, my baby girl. We've missed you."

I gave her a disgusted look and she looked at me confused. I gently pushed her away and my dad came up to me and slapped me in the face. He then yelled at me saying,

"Don't you dare give your mother that look!!! You have no idea the hell we've been through!!!!! We've tried to look for you for the last couple of weeks!!!!! We've been worried sick about you!!!!!!"

I looked at him with rage and yelled back.

"OH, YEAH!!!! YOU WERE SO 'WORRIED'!!!! I CAN TELL BY THE WAY THAT MOM WAS JUMPING UP AND DOWN IN JOY!!!! IF YOU WERE 'WORRIED', I WOULD'VE SAW MISSING CHILD POSTERS AROUND THE CITY!!!! ALTHOUGH YOU WOULDN'T PUT THEM UP CAUSE YOU WERE WAITING FOR THE MONEY!!!! AND YOU'VE BEEN THROUGH HELL?!?!?! I'VE BEEN THROUGH HELL!!!! BEING ATTACKED!!!! GETTING TRANSFORMED INTO THIS!!!!! AND TO NEVER SEE YOU GUYS AGAIN!!!! YEAH, YOU LOVE ME THAT MUCH TO SELL ME TO A COMPLETE MANIAC!!!!!"

Then, my dad's fist connected with my face and I fell to the ground. He then kicked me and started to punch again. My mom was standing there in horror. He stopped and went strait to the kitchen. I just laid there in pain, but I didn't show it in my face. My dad came back minutes later with a butcher knife. My mom screamed and tried to persuade him from killing me. But anger consumed his body and I can see hate in his eyes.

He pushed my mom aside and went towards me. He lifted the knife and I was bracing myself for my ending life. But I didn't feel anything and I heard nothing. I opened my eyes and, again, saw horror in their eyes. But they weren't looking at me, they were looking somewhere else. I followed their gaze and found Raph holding on to my dad's wrist. Then, I saw Leo, Donnie, and Mikey coming in from the window.

"Raph!!!! Why did you went in?!?!?!? It wasn't our fight!!!!"

"C'mon, Leo!!!! He was gonna kill her and she didn't look good enough to fight!!!!"

My mom looked at them again, but then she fainted out of no where. My dad went up to her to try to wake her up, until I heard Donnie's voice saying,

"Hmmm. Ya have a way with the ladies. Don't 'cha Master?"

"Hmmmm. Out cold."

I turned and saw Splinter coming from behind the guys. I guess that would explain mom's fainting. I looked at him and he looked at me with disapointment. I gazed down at the floor and I saw blood. As I rose up, I felt pain in every part of my body and I walked to the bathroom. I looked in the full length mirror and what I saw frightened me.

My body was covered with bruises and I also have a black eye on my left eye. But I also saw cuts on my arms. I head footsteps behind me and I saw Mikey's and Donnie's reflection. They looked at me with disappiontment as well, but mostly concerned. I looked away, not standing the attention that I brought to myself. Donnie dug out a first aid kit and started to bind up my cuts.

"They're not too deep, but we still need to disinfect it. Oh, and Splinter's explaining on how we exist. Again."

I looked out the window, wondering how many people knew about their secret. Donnie finished up the binding and left the bathroom and Mikey came in. I looked down as he stood in front of me. He then, knelt down and looked up at my face. He looked at me with his hazel brown eyes and smiled. He then kissed me and I closed my eyes and kissed him back. We both heard a cough and we looked and saw Leo and Raph staring at us.

"Are we disturbing you guys?"

" Hehehehe. Yeah, cuz I can see ya guys are pretty busy."

Mikey looked at them with a smirk on his face while I blushed. They both left and left us alone. Mikey looked at me for a while and then he finally spoke.

"Listen, I know I just met you and all, but, I like you, Rose."

I just stared at him in wonder. I didn't think could be that serious enough for him to say that. I smiled and hugged him whispering,

"I like you too, Mikey."

He then started kissing my neck and went up to my lips. Before we even got to kiss, we heard a bam followed by a couple of ow. We looked out into the hallway and saw Donnie, Raph, and Leo on top of each other. Mikey let go of me and started to tackle them. They then started to roll into the living room, with me following and Splinter hitting all of them with his walking stick.

I laughed as they got off each other and sat in a line. My mom came up to me with a sad face and I knew that I won't be seeing her again. My dad came up to me and I stiffened, remembering the knife, and remembering the haunting memory. He came up to me and handed a yellow envelope.

"Half of it is yours. You might as well take it. After what you have been through, we want you to have it. And don't worry, we'll keep your and your freind's secret."

I grabbed the envelope and the guys started to climb out the window. I just stood there staring at my parents, knowing that this might be the last time I get to see them. I turned around and went towards the window and went out after saying goodbye and walking towards the waiting turtles and rat. Splinter looked at me, as if he was about to say something, but he turned around and started to walk. I knew he was still mad at me, so I said nothing.

The guys started to walk away too, saying nothing. But Mikey looked back and I gave him a look saying I will be right behind them. He smile at me concerningly and went with the others. I waited until I couldn't see them anymore, I opened the envelope and I saw what looked like about fifty thousand dollars. I closed it and walked the other direction.

I didn't want to hear the lecture Splinter was going to give me, so I headed strait to the abandoned building that I first went in. Luckily, I found an old blanket and an old pillow and I took it with me. As I entered, I reflect on the earlier night. I layed down in a spot of the shadows and I cried myself to sleep. Thinking of the shame that I put in their family.
