Chapter 8 - Funfight

The school bell rang and Kuroo startled, immediatly awake and looking around. Oh right, he was on the roof. But something felt weird. He looked down on his lap and saw Kenma sleeping peacefully. "When did he get there?" Kuroo mumbled confused to his self but didn't mind it that much. Kenma was light and soft so it wasn't really something he could complain about. While both were asleep, Kenma slipped down from the taller male's shoulder on his lap. Neither of them noticed. Kuroo watched him sleep a little longer before he moved his hand slowly to his head. "His hair is really soft" Kuroo whispered as he ran his hands through it. He combed it carefully with his fingers and started braiding it after, curious what Kenma would do if he woke up but he also didn't want to wake him up, now where he was so close on his own. The taller male couldn't really stop smiling down at him. Soon he had braided every part of Kenma's hair that he could reach and looked proudly at his work before leaning back again. The school bell rang again. "Don't we have PE now?" Kuroo thought and got a little excited. "PE or sleeping Kenma..?" Kuroo had small trouble with deciding but in the end he decided to wake him up. "Kenma, wake up" He said softly and shook his shoulder carefully. "mh.. no" Kenma mumbled back and turned around, now facing Kuroo's stomach. Kuroo's heart nearly stopped. He was just too cute for his poor heart. Softly shaking him again he called him again. But by his first name this time. "Kozume, wake up please" Kenma opened his eyes immediately and stared up at Kuroo. "Slept well cutie?" he asked smirking at his reaction and ruffled Kenma's hair. The smaller male blushed a little again and sat up, turning away. He nodded a little but stayed quiet. "Hey, are still not talking with me, Kozume?" Kenma twitched when he heard his first name and slowly turned around, having a little teary eyes. Kuroo froze. "Why is he crying..?" he thought and leaned over to hug him. Kenma felt a little bit better when Kuroo's large and warm arms were wrapped around but couldn't help it anymore. He started to cry again. "Shh.. What's wrong Kozu?" Kuroo asked calmly, gently rubbing his back. "My friends will leave me!" Kenma said sobbing and his his face at Kuroo's chest. "No, they won't leave. Yaku called you his friend like one hour ago and promised not to tell. Don't worry." Kuroo didn't really know what to do to calm him down so he turned quiet, squeezing the small sobbing boy in his arms.

After a while Kenma wasn't sobbing anymore so Kuroo lifted his head up, by cupping his cheeks. Kenma looked at him with red swollen eyes and a wet face. The taller male shook his head and smiled a little before he wiped the tears off Kenma's face. "Are you okay now?" He asked, softly smiling. Kenma nodded, still hugging him. "That's good" Kuroo leaned a little forwards and pressed a small kiss on his boyfriend's lips. "Everyone will stay here" He said comforting and kissed Kenma another time, this time on his forehead. Kenma turned a little red but nodded, appreciating that Kuroo put up with him. "Come on, we have PE now, I dont wanna miss it" Kuroo said and got up, reaching his hand down to Kenma. The smaller male took it and looked down when he stood for a moment. Wait. What was wrong with his hair? Kenma touched the braids and slowly looked up, glaring at Kuroo. He just smirked and shrugged, stepping a little away. Kenma stepped after him til they reached the wall again and Kenma leaned up to look taller. But that only caused Kuroo to laugh a little. "Is that all?" he asked chuckling and grabbed Kenmas shoulders, so he could turn them. Now Kenma was at the wall. Kenma blushed a little since Kuroo had moved his face closer again. Both of his hands on the wall, next to Kenmas head. "You should know that I can do that better" Kuroo said, still laughing a little. Kenma pouted and poked his boyfriend's sides, suggesting he was ticklish. Kuroo twitched and flinched a bit. "Nu-uh, not like this" Kuroo was still chuckling when he grabbed Kenmas wrists and held them next to his head on the wall. "Hey! That's unfair" Kenma complained and struggled, trying to free his self. "I'm stronger Kozu, don't even try" The taller male said as he leaned closer. Kenma was near kicking him. But he didnt do yet, he didn't really want to hurt him. Kuroo took both of Kenma's hands in one of his and held them over his head. His other hand slipped under Kenma's chin so he'd look up. "Can I kiss you?" Kuroo asked innocently. Kenma shook his head, pouting. "Why not?" Silence. "I'll do it if you don't anser" Kuroo liked to tease him, seeing the blush growing bigger in his little face and how his skin got warmer. "Well then" Kuroo leaned closer until their lips met, kissing him softly. Kenma didnt kiss back but held still. Kuroo pouted a little as well. "Come on, that's no fun Kozume" he whined and brushed his thumb over the smaller male's bottom lip. Kenma opened his mouth a little, more like a reflex. Kuroo took the chance and kissed him again, deeper now. He did that for a while, until Kenma was panting lightly. He let go of his hands and ruffled his hair again. Then he poked his boyfriend's lips gently- Kenma bit him. "Ouuuch!" Kuroo flinched and looked pouting down at Kenma. "For braiding my hair and kissing me against my will" he said and turned around, walking off the roof. Kuroo stayed, staring after him a little stunned and looked at his finger then. "Kenma is really unbelievable" he had to smile while thinking about him. When he ran after him, he was still smiling like an idiot.

Everyone else was already there and they had changed nearly completely. Kuroo sighed and stribbed quickly. But that only caused a flustered Kenma. Kuroo had to laugh and ruffled his hair, putting on his sport clothes. "By the way, that's the topic at the moment?" Kuroo asked as he looked at the small boy changing too and blushed a little as well. His skin seemed so soft and he was so thin, also pale. Probably because he doesn't go out on his free will. Kenma looked up "Volleyball" he mumbled and Kuroo's eyes began to sparkle.
