Hello guys. I know its been long since updated. Anyway I hope you enjoy.

Lynn's P.O.V

"So other than being beautiful you are also a bookworm." A voice said behind me. I was in the library looking for a book before heading for lunch. I didn't expect anyone to be here at this time since everyone was busy gobbling up and having a break from the lessons.

I turned my body to face whoever had spoken. It was my prince charming Lincoln. His blue green eyes danced in excitement as he erased the distance between us. I did nothing but stare at his well built body moving towards my tiny one. He flashed me a sparkly smile as he stopped right in front of me. His hand went above my head and landed on the shelf. My heart was beating at an accelerating speed since I had never been this close with a boy.

"Uh.....Am not really a bookworm but I love books." I finally spoke after summoning my voice from God knows which place. My forehead was dotted lightly with sweat as Lincoln bent his head. I think he was trying to play with me since I heard him chuckle lightly at my expressionless face.

"You are so cute when you do that."

"Do what?"I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. Ever since our eyes locked yesterday, all he had been telling me was that I was cute, pretty, beautiful and so on. I couldn't tell if that was what boys did to coax someone. Whether it was or not, it caused a foreign feeling in my tummy.

"When you get all nervous when am close to you. Do you think am gong to eat you?" He asked. I inwardly laughed at the thought of him eating me but I stopped when I noticed his expression was serious. I quickly shook my head and a sigh of relief escaped his perfectly shaped pink lips.

"You know my little sister thinks that one day am going to eat her. She is so scared of me."Whoever in this world that thought this hot perfectly sculptured guy standing in front of me is scary must be out of this world.

"How old is she?" I asked. My voice was less shaky because I didn't want him to think that I was scared of him.

"She is five years." Well I perfectly understood why. At that time I also found boys scary. I guess its a stage that one overcomes later in life.

"Is it fine if I take you to the dining room or are you still trying to dive into this millions of books?" He asked with a hint of amusement in his voice. In the short conversation we had, I realized that his emotions could change drastically and could also be played with. Not that I was planning to toy with his emotions, but because I usually notice peoples emotions very quickly. I could tell if someone had a bad past, a tormenting present or both. From his looks, he looked like one of those people who never see bad in things. Optimistic is the word.

"Sure." I said as we quietly exited the library. We talked about random stuff and I learned a few things about him. I was right. He did have some hard times but he always looked for the bright side of the situation. He also told me that he and his brother Anthony were actually twins but with very different tastes in everything. He cracked some jokes and we laughed as if we were long time friends.

We entered the noisy, teenage filled hall where everyone was doing practically anything. Even though there were no boundaries, everyone seemed to be in a certain group. The cheer leaders and the football players had occupied the left corner. They all had the same characteristics. They were all good looking, famous and well they all had their partners seated right next to them.

Close to that group was the geek group. Even a blind man could tell their intelligence from a far. I mean they all had laptops with huge cables connected to them and they seemed really engrossed in whatever they were doing that they barely had a bite of the food before them.

Next was the elites. They are the ones who were dropped in luxurious cars and even had special classrooms. Even their corner of the room had waitresses and the floor was carpeted. They had special food which wasn't even in the menu and some good classic music being played softly by a small band. You could actually smell how much money they had in their pockets.

Other groups were minor. One couldn't tell what they actually did. Right in front of me was a group of boys playing instruments as they ate mountains and mountains of food before them. I quickly averted my gaze and my eyes locked on a pair of icy blue orbs. They held a certain storm that seemed to have been caused by me. Of course I had completely forgotten about Nicholas. After bidding my farewells to Lincoln, I hastily made my way to our table. Me being the unpopular girl I am, I had to dodge and excuse myself from the multitude of people flooding before me. As I neared our table however, it got much clearer.

"I see you were with lover boy over there that you forgot about your friend here." He said clearly not amused by my lateness. To some extent I think he's taking this friend thing too far. I mean I have the freedom to have other friends.

"He's name is Lincoln and I didn't forget about you."

"So tell me your believable excuse." He said as he turned his gaze towards his phone.

"Well I went to get a book from the library and then I met Lincoln who brought me here. I didn't mean to take that long though." I said as I put on one of those smiles that say -I-hope-you-believe-cause-am-freaking-out. He rolled his icy blue eyes. The storm in them seemed to calm but one couldn't tell from his facial expression cause it was normal and by normal I mean blank.

"So are you fasting today cause I can't see any food here."

"I didn't have the opportunity to get food since someone looked as if he could kill me."

"You are lucky I got you some food. Your favorite." He said while flashing me a smile. He's smile was something to die for but he never showed it. The first time he smiled at me was when we first became friends. I told him how handsome it made him look and he went all "Never say that again and don't tell anyone about this smile. It's a secret for two and no one will believe you anyway."

"At least you were listening to me when I was talking about the stuff I like and don't. Thanks though that was sweet of you." I smiled but I don't think he was listening and if he was he just ignored."

Nicholas' P.O.V

I don't know why but I was worried when Lynn didn't come for lunch. She left the class immediately the bell rang and didn't tell me anything. Anyway I was fine with that until I came to the lunch hall and couldn't see her. She was still new in this school and maybe she was lost or maybe someone was holding her hostage. I know that sounds weird but trust me anything can happen in a school that has groups like ours. I mean everyone tries to take you to their group and you'll be sorry if you neglect offers from big groups like the football and cheer leading team. I have a great experience with that. See I don't like being in big groups and I didn't want to join any group even the nerds group. When I denied all offers I was beaten almost to death and that's why I became a bully too. Okay that's not enough reason. There's more than one reason why am this way.

When I looked around once more, I felt something I never did before. It was like I was having a minor heart attack. Lynn and Lincoln were laughing together. Something that we never did. She only talks to me when I ask her something or when she has a question. Most of the time she usually watches me looking at my phone or just stare around but what I was seeing wasn't the Lynn I knew. She was laughing with that good for nothing. Her eyes roamed around and then they met mine. I didn't even try to conceal the anger I had. The thing was I wasn't angry at her I was all mad about what I was feeling. It was strange. Deep down that anger was hurt and maybe a tiny bit of jealousy.

Even though I hate to admit it, I think I have crush on her.
