Dinner

I unlock the apartment and head straight to the bathroom. I sigh as I step into a hot shower. I scrub off the day's sweat and dirt. When I'm done, I dry off and slip on a pink tee shirt and some cut offs. I dry my hair and throw it into a pony tail. I walk into my bedroom to see a passed out Joji. He lays his head on one pillow and cuddles the other. I laugh and slip the pillow from him and put it next to him. I lay down on the pillow and sigh. I feel Joji wrap his arms around me. I could SO get used to this. A smile curls into my lips and I cuddle against him. He buries his face into my hair. I let myself drift into a soft sleep.
----------------------
I wake up to Joji shaking me gently. "Y/n, wake up." Joji says. I groan and sit up. "Do you still want to go to dinner?" He asks. I nod my head and put my arms out. "Carry me to the living room." I mumble. Joji laughs and picks me up easily. I rest my head on his shoulder as he carries me to the couch. I grin evilly and kiss his neck. I stop and suck on one spot. He shivers and grunts quietly. I grin and lay my head back down. "Why'd you stop?" He whines. I giggle and shrug my shoulders. He sits me down on the couch. We talk and figure out where we will go for dinner. Joji calls and makes reservations. I run into the bedroom and pick out a dress. The dress is black with lacy shoulders. After throwing on a bit of makeup, I slip on some black heels and curl my hair. I walk out to find a well dressed Joji. I smile at him and grab my purse. "Where did you get those clothes?" I ask, stepping outside the apartment. "Max's closet. I hope he doesn't mind." He glances at me and smiles. I grin back and open the passenger door. I sit inside and put on my seat belt. I fix my hair and wait for Joji to start the car. I glance at him to find him staring at me. I blush and raise an eyebrow. "Are we gonna go?" I ask impatiently. He chuckles softly and turns on the engine. We pull out of the parking space and take off. I crank up the radio and listen to my favorite song, f/s. I sing along, laughing at my off-key voice. Joji laughs too, beating his fingers on the steering wheel. When we pull into the parking lot, I glance around. The parking lot was half empty. I guess people don't like going on dates on the week days. I get out and walk to the doors. Joji slips his hand into mine and I blush. It was about ten seconds of bliss, then he slipped his hand from mine and pulled open the door. I walk inside and glance around. Young and old couples are scattered around the restaurant. I walk to the front desk and wait for Joji. "Hello, what is your reservation name?" A young man asks. Joji glances at me, then at the man. "Uh, reservation for... Mister and Misses Miller." He says, blushing. The man smiles and turns on his heals. "Right this way." He says. I glance at Joji as the man leads us around the restaurant. "Mister and Misses Miller?" I ask. Joji looks at me and shrugs. We laugh and sit down at the table.
--------------------
I lean back and sigh. "That was amazing!" I say, smiling at Joji. He sips a Coke and nods. "Yeah, that was pretty good." He says, giving a sly smile. We have a small argument over the bill and we decide to split it. We step out into the chilly night, the moon stands tall in the sky. I slide into the seat and sigh. I buckle my seat belt and watch Joji slide into the car. We start to drive. It's quiet at first.
"Thanks for dinner." I say
"Yeah, that was really good." Joji repeats. It's quiet for a moment, I think we were just enjoying each other's company. Then Joji speaks up. "Look, y/n. I...I was wondering if you wanted to do this again?" Joji grasped my hand in his. "Joji, I had so much fun tonight. I would be honored." I say in a joking matter. We laugh at the dumb joke and Joji continues. "I also wanted to ask you, y/n. Would you like to..." I smiled at him, that's when I saw it.
"JOJI!" He grasps my hand as we braced ourselves. Then, it all went black.
