Chapter 7 Poochm

Mitch POV

Lunch came quickly and I was headed down to the cafeteria when I was stopped by someone. Actually two someone's. Preston and Matt.

"Hey there I'm Matt or Nooch."he exclaimed, "your new here right?"

"Yeah I'm Mitch or the Bajan Canadian." Preston smirked.j

"A Canadian? Man we haven't seen a Canadian in almost 7 months, since Woofless left. " he exclaimed, "I'm Preston or TBNRFrags." He held out a hand. Without out thinking I reached out and shook it.

But it didn't burn at all. Not even one bit. I was surprised, after all he was a lava mob.

"Do you wanna sit at our lunch table? It's kind of just us." I nodded my head.

"Sure." We walked towards the cafeteria listening to Matt tell me something he knew about RedStone. Which apparently he was good at.

"So what are you good with Mitch?" Matt asked as we sat down. I sat next to Preston and Matt was across from us.

"I'm great with Bow and Arrows and back in my old town I was the best at Minecraft hunger games."

"Awesome dude, I'm a RedStone master and well Preston sucks at PVP #prestonsucks at PVP. But he's not to bad, I'm teaching him RedStone."

"Not to bad? I destroyed a server on accident!" He exclaimed making me laugh.

"You don't just accidentally blow up a server! You intentionally do it!"

"Well actually it was a lot of fun.We did world edit and switched out all stone with TNT. Then we were going to freak everyone out my changing the top layer to red wool but Preston put down RedStone instead of red wool."

"It was an accident! There was just too much cake!" we all laughed as Preston took a large oversized bite of the cake on his plate. These guys weren't to bad they were freaking amazing! I don't know why people were scared.

"I almost forgot to ask what are you in for Mitchy?" Nooch asked chuckling at calling me 'Mitchy'

"I'm Gay and my parents are huge homophobes." I said feeling a bit confident. They both seemed surprised.

"Really? Dude finally more people like us!" Nooch said grinning, "I'm Gay as well and accidentally set off an explosive in a mall killing a guy. Preston's exactly the same."

"Yeah, but we swear it was an accident, we were gathering parts because not only on Minecraft are we explosive experts but in real life too! We hooked the parts together to early and it exploded, we were both in the hospital for three days before we went to Juvy."
Preston explained and nodded along listening intently.

"We paid out time and then we were sent here by our parents. My parents didn't want to have to deal with me, and Preston's disowned him early on for being gay."

"That's horrible. I hid it from my parents knowing they were homophobic but I had this boyfriend for a bit and it had to tell them. Me and the guy broke up the next day turns out it was just a bet." I sighed and looked down as I spoke. I felt Preston put an arm around me.

"It's alright buddy don't worry ain't no body going to pick on you anymore. Your one of us." I smiled slightly and nodded.

"What about my other friends?" They glanced back at the table where Jerome still had his eyes on me.

"We won't ever be friends with them. On our first day here Adam ruined Preston, and in ruining my friend he ruined me." He broke off into telling the story.

**flash back Nooch POV**

It was my mine and Preston's first day at this mental institution thing. He was griping my hand tightly afraid to let go.

He had felt so guilty about killing that man that he had been getting nightmares during the night so I had made sure to it that we shared a room.

"Matt? Preston?" I raised my head to see a guy with a clipboard standing in front of us. Preston looked away but I nodded.

"I'm Taylor but call me Ant, it's short for Antvenom. Let me show you too your room." He led us down the hall where he ran into a kid with curly brown hair and a golden amulet around his neck.

"Hey Ant!" The kid exclaimed excitedly. "I was just coming to find you, Dawn say the need you down in the main office area thing." Ant sighed and nodded

"Alright, would you be able to show around are two new members. There rooms 266. Good luck." Ant turned and headed down the hall. The kid stuck out his hand.

"Hey I'm Adam also known as SkyDoesMinecraft but I prefer Sky." I shook his hand while Preston kept his head down.

"I'm Matt but I like to be called Nooch, this is Preston." He looked up a bit but only for a second.

"Well welcome to MMI! Let me show you too your room, it's only a few doors away from mine!" He showed us too our room but stopped in front of the door his face turning suddenly serious.

"Listen your new you don't know any of the rules. Keep your head down and don't piss anyone off, especially me or I'll flood your little lava friend while he's asleep." My hand gripped Preston's tighter. "Understand me? Your in my domain now kid." He straightened up and smiled.

"Have fun!" And walked off.

Preston was shaking and looked utterly terrified. As everyone knows lava+water do not mix.

"Don't worry I won't let him near you." I whispered.

"Thanks Nooch." He whispered and I smiled. I wouldn't let him hurt my friend

**end flashback**

**back to Mitch POV**

I listened intently and looked back once more at the table of kids I had once sat with.

"What about burning Jerome?" I asked.

"I get nervous and overheat sometimes. If you haven't noticed from the story I use to be really shy and Nooch is the only one who can handle my heat."

"So you never meant to burn him?" He shook his head and smiled sadly.

"They just don't understand." He whispered sighing intently. "But whatever I don't need those cactuses."

"Ya know I think I might sit with you guys." I exclaimed watching them smile. Maybe the others had seen them all wrong. They were just protecting themselves and being who they were, they couldn't help it.

Maybe everything here was different.

Well guys I like to give a little backstory to all of my characters and make you think Twice about hating a character. Everything has a reason and I think i might have some fun with this story.
