Chapter 9 Jason

***a few months later***

Mitch POV

I've been at this place for 8 months now and the day everyone was nervous for finally came. Visiting day.

This was the day when parents or family or friends came to visit someone in the building. There were no classes today and we were all suppose to gather in the gym where parents would be waiting.

"Come on Biggums it won't be that bad." I exclaimed pulling the blanket off of Jerome. He yanked it bak pulling it over his head.

"Every time my parents come here they tell me what a freak I am and that my friends are horrible people."

"You and the group are not horrible or freaks. Do you want me to lay with you until your ready to get up" from under the blanket I saw him nod his head and move over.

This had been one of our new things. Since they announced visiting day Jerome had been on edge and even had a few nightmares. so I would lay with him until he felt better. I didn't mind of course.

I climbed into the bed next to him leaning against his shoulder. His arm came around me and his head appeared from under the blanket. He rested his head against mine and clung on to me. We stayed like this for a while.

Adam POV

"But what if they still hate me?" I asked fixing my hair in the mirror, " my bipolar lever will raise if someone insults you Ty, I don't wanna freak" he let out a breath and sighed.

"Just don't listen to them, you can just talk to my parents, they like you.
They think your a good thing for me." He said walking up behind me looking in the full sized mirror that rested against the wall. I sighed nodding.

"You know you look extremely handsome" I exclaimed turning my head looking back at him. He laughed and grinned, which he only did when he was with me.

"So do you, but could you help me with my tie?" I turned and stepped closer to him. He wore a black fancy looking suit with dress shoes, everyone here had to look nice. Even if your parent didn't come.

Ty and I had on matching black suits but his tie was green and purple stripped while mine was budder colored of course. I tied his tie and made sure it was on tightly.

"Now, let's go pick up Jason and make sure he's ok before we go down to the gym." He nodded and held out his hand. I grabbed it and together we walked down the hall to Jason's room which was at the end of the hall. He didn't have a roommate, mostly because he has anger issues which lead to throwing things. Which I knew he was doing right now.

I shoved open the door in time to see a book go flying across the room. Jason was sitting on the floor in the middle of the room in his space suit, all except the helmet.

I gasped causing him to look our way. Immediately I knew why he wore that helmet. The entire left side of his face was burnt and his eye had no color. He sighed and turned away.

"Jason?" Ty whispered letting go of my hand walking towards him. I was right behind them just incase Jason flipped on Ty which wouldn't be the first time.

"I don't want to go to the visiting day" he whispered clenching his fists. "I told you my parents were cruel and this is what I meant." Ty sighed and wrapped his arms around Jason's shaking shoulders.

"You won't be alone, they can't hurt you with so many people around. And if they do we'll stop them." Jason sniffled.

"Promise?" Ty nodded and Jason's gaze went to me, "Promise Adam?" I smiled and nodded.

"I promise dude, now let's get out of here." Jason nodded and got up grabbing the helmet of his space suit pulling it on. Ty grabbed my hand in his left one an Jason's in his right.

The three of us walked hand in hand down to the gymnasium ready to face our families.
