Anika was just like any other tender teenager. What made her special were her Fantasies, her unlimited love for her imaginary Prince Charming, the guy of her dreams. She had the habit of giving up very easily. Any unimportant matter could easily break her. She used to feel emotions very deeply, be it any of them - happiness, sorrow, confusion, depression and specially hurt.
She, though was full of life and had an evergreen smile which could make anyone's day.

But what had happened to her in the previous years was beyond explanation. She was just a toy now, a girl void of any feeling, devoid of all the happiness she once used to carry within herself. She was attending counselling classes on how to be happy? Is this really Anikaa??

In the middle of one of the classes, she thought to herself..
"Is this how my life was supposed to go on? I had so many dreams when I was a little girl. So many people had such a lot of expectations from me. How did I even land here? Is this how my life is going to go on?"

Suddenly she was distracted with the words of her Counsellor-cum-Friend
"Exactly Anika, Is this what you want for yourself? Such a lot of darkness, depression, frustration and all of that negetivity you have stored in yourself? Only beacuse of certain unimportant, to be frank silly, incidents you've torn yourself apart?"

Anika wanted to respond but she couldn't. She had a newly formed lump in her throat. Her mind was pressurising her to cry her heart off, forget the past and start off fresh.

She responded in a whisper.
"It's hard for me, more than you can ever think. These emotions are killing me inside. People say it is a gift to sensitive people to feel deeply, but I would go the other way to prove that this deepness kills"

She couldn't continue because she had started feeling the salty taste of her tears and she realized that she cried after so many years.

Amelia burst out with happiness at this sight, she was happy beyond words because her bestie and patient was getting healed.

"Anika has finally cried, she must be feeling light now." she thought to herself.

She hugged Anika and without uttering a word drove her home.
