Dream or Nightmare?

Anika got up only to find darkness surrounding her. She was frozen in her place and could neither move nor speak. Something had held her from within. There were only tears flowing out of her eyes. She had no other way to express the extreme pain she was feeling, that pain which was killing her little by little.

"Don't get fooled again, you stupid girl. You are not worth it."
These were the words that echoed for about a million times before she collected all her strength and started letting out whispering screams calling out "Viren".

"Viren, please come here, I need you. I love you. There is no me without you. You are the only reason for my identity. You are my existence. Please stay..."
This was how she was blabbering her love for her Prince Charming Viren.

Viren was witnessing all of this from a distance. He was blank, void of all emotions. He had nothing left inside him. He was broken, torn apart after listening to all these words coming from Anika.

Some instinct in him pushed him inside the room towards the bed, towards his Anika.
He took her in his lap, wrapped his arms around her, kissed her forehead and made her sit in a comfortable position.
It was now that he got some strength within him. He started caressing her hair, went near her and whispered in her ear -

"I am here, Anika. Your Viren is here. You needn't worry anymore. I will take care of you. You are a Princess and deserve to be treated that way. You are a dream come true Anika. I am sorry for my past behaviour. But now I am here Anika and I've come and it's only for you."

"I love you Anika" and that is enough for the whole of eternity.

All this was very soothing for Anika. His voice, His words, Him! ♥
She couldn't analyse anything that were happening in front of her. But a sense of Peace and Love predominated her.
She was in the warmth of her Prince Charming's embrace. That was enough for her.

Anika was smiling. Her smile, for the very first time in so many days reached her eyes.
She tightened his hold around her, as though He was Hers to claim.
She clenched him as hard as she could and dozed of to sleep.
A very peaceful sleep indeed.

Viren's View

Omg!! Did this just happen?
This is a dream come true for me. My Anika just hugged me back. She loves me so much. She was murmuring my name. She confessed her love for me. In place of hatred, she has so much love for me. This is enough. This is more than enough.

I would do anything it takes for my Princess, My Anika. I would care for her like she is a baby and would make her normal soon.

Get ready Anika, Your hubby is on his way! He'd love you more than your Prince Charming ever did. You will see a new me, a new Viren.
You will see Anika's Viren from tomorrow.
