Viren had fallen asleep and gone into a world full of the beautiful moments that he had lived with the love of his life, "Anika".

I had a very good time at the clinic with some of my patients. My idea of having dinner with them was one of the beat decision of my life. They have so much love for me. I am feeling blessed.

"I am totally determined to do something for them." She promised herself and searched her bag to check her phone.

She hit her head hard.
How could she even forget about Anika?
Gosh!! She is with Viren.

Have they encountered each other? Is everything alright?
She had a hundred questions rushing through her mind.

She was shocked when she read the text from Viren. It said,

Amelia, you are needed here. Anika is having a nightmare, I guess. I won't be able to manage the situation alone. Come ASAP.

Omg!! I have to rush back home, she murmured as she started her car and drove back home.

As I reached home, I was amazed to see the scene in front of me.

It was delightful for me to see Anika in Viren's arms. They both are a true meaning of "fairy tale romance", I said to myself as I added another memory of their's to their "happily ever after" by clicking their photo as I had been doing for the past 2 years.

But soon I realized that I had to find out what had actually happened to Anika. I quickly scanned her surroundings, checked her medicine box and her diary, just like a typical Psychiatrist. When I got nothing useful, I moved inside the room and checked Anika. She was normal, in fact, she was improving. I could make out through the way she was asleep, the peaceful expression that dominated her face.

Then why was her state so bad during the previous hours, I questioned myself.

Now I have no other way except for checking the secret camera I had earlier fitted in Anika's room. I convinced myself that whatever I was doing was not wrong, it was all for Anika's good.

I now slowly went near the bed where the camera was kept. I had to be careful enough as I din't want to disturb the two love birds romancing each other in their dreams.

I immediately attached the chip to my laptop and checked the footage of the last 12 hours. I was astonished to see Anika's state. Anika was having a nightmare and a dream togther.

How could this be possible?

Is this something related to Anika's past?

I need to find out as soon as I can so that Anika is cured fast and she returns to her normal life, where so many people are waiting for her. I have to do something, and this time no waiting, for anything.

I hurriedly woke Viren up, as he was the only person who could actually help me in analysing what actually was disturbing Anika.

I politely called out his name by patting his shoulder. He responded at once. I actioned him to come out, by shifting her to the pillow comfortably and ensuring her sleep isn't disturbed, as I had to discuss about their past life. But Viren was not very open about certain matters, how am I going to make him understand that it is very important for me know Anika and her life with all it's details before I further study her.

He followed my instructions, refreshed himself and was in the study room within the next 10 mins.

I started speaking after ignoring all his questions regarding my decision of leaving him alone with Anika.

"All this can wait, Viren. Anika's health cannot. What I am going to tell you is very important. Only if you understand well, can you help me, only if I know about certain things better can I heal Anika. Everything is inter-connected, you see. So now everything depends on you Viren, as you are the only thread that is linking Anika with her past issues."
I said to Viren in one go and turned towards him.

I could sense seriousness in Viren's eyes. He was all set to end this pain and set Anika free, I made out from his face.

He told me just one sentence -
"I am now ready to do anything for Anika, I am ready to even tell you about my past with her. But I want her to be back to normal soon"

"I will do anything it takes. I want my Anika back, at any cost."

His pleadings suddenly took the shape of orders, and I could see passion burning in his eyes.

Is this passion, the love he has for Anika?? or something else?

What is this man upto?

If he really loved Anika so much, why the hell did he push her into all this darkness?

Why did he become the sole-cause of her pain?

"Certain mysteries remain forever, and things go on well only if certain questions remain unanswered" , I said to myself as I began my discussion with Viren.
