Carys woke up with a light knocking on the door. She untangled herself from the sheets and blankets and slowly opened it, revealing Agnes standing there.
- Missy, we know about your little plan with your sister. You thought we wouldn't see anything?
- Hmmg? - Carys groaned, rubbing her eyes.
- We know about the two boys staying here. - Carys froze.
- Please don't tell Eus, he will kick out the guys and they are really sweet-
- I know about it, Carys. - He said from behind the housekeeper.
- Dad, I'm so sorry, I'm really sorry, but you have to see my point-
- I do understand you. - He said, blankly. - I just don't understand with didn't you tell me. - She remained quiet. - So?
- I was afraid you wouldn't allow it. - She said barely over a whisper.
- Oh, darling, you were only helping those boys, of course I would allow it. I would've helped you with it. Don't ever hesitate in asking me anything, alright? - She nodded, still looking down. He caressed her cheek and she looked up, smiling lightly.
- Now go take a shower and get dressed, then come down to have breakfast with your dad before he focus on work again. - Agnes broke the silence, still smiling.
Carys did as she was told; took a refreshing shower, then got dressed into a floral red, pink and white dress just above her knees and white flats. She let her beautiful blonde hair loose falling in soft waves over her shoulder; waves that bounced as she happily walked down the stairs.
As Carys and Eus quietly ate breakfast, she had to ask.
- How did you know about them? - He looked up slightly surprised with the sudden question.
- Oh, um, the boys told me. By the way, they're staying here for another three days. - He simply said, smiling, leaving Carys confused, slightly annoyed and without an explanation. She shrugged and decided not to push it.

The next morning - or perhaps I should say later that morning - Anwen was awoken by a loud chatting coming from outside her room. She looked around; Carys was nowhere to be seen and the door that connected their rooms was opened, revealing another empty space.
She lazily slid out of bed and went for a shower before any human interaction. The cold water slid down her body and washed the confusion and tiredness off her. Then she got out and blow dried her hair before getting dressed into black leggings, high top blue converse and a blue tank top. She walked outside yawning, heading downstairs.
Behold there stood ten people happily chatting.
- Anwen! - Eus said, placing an arm around her shoulders. - Good morning, dear. We were waiting for you. Slept well? - She couldn't process everything that was going on.
The guys from One Direction - that should be gone by now - were there with Carys, Dan, Kyle, Eus and Agnes, all smiling, chatting on the corridor.
- Hm? - She groaned. They chuckled. - Why is everyone so happy? It's like 9 in the morning and you woke me up. - She tried to walk past them but someone held her shoulders and turned her around. Agnes, of course.
- Great news! Those lovely boys are staying for another three days! And Carys just told us what you were doing for those other adorable young men. I didn't knew you were so caring, Anwen! - Agnes smiled as Anwen raised an eyebrow.
- I am not, I don't care. - She tried to keep her badass pose. They apparently ignored that.
- Well, I'll be on my bureau downstairs for the morning, then I'll go back to the office after lunch. You have fun. - Eus kissed her forehead, then Carys', and rushed downstairs.
- I'll be back on the kitchen if you need anything. - Agnes smiled widely and went downstairs too, leaving the youngest alone.
- Right. - Anwen murmured.
- So what are we doing now? - Carys excitedly asked.
- I'm going to get an apple if you excuse me. - Anwen slowly said, making her way downstairs, anxious to leave those people alone.
She was still not over that conversation with Daniel; she was rather embarrassed - not because of him nor anything that he's done, but because maybe they knew she had a slight crush on him. She didn't want anyone to know that. She didn't believe in such thing as love, and she made sure she made that clear for everyone: Anwen Baines did not believe in love; she was the rebel, badass sister who could not simply have a crush on some random boy. Never in a million years. She had to be the strong, independent woman.
Trying to not think much about that - seen as they weren't even dreaming of her having a crush (except for Carys; but Carys is her sister so she understood it and kept it a secret) - she reached for her apple on the table. As soon as she got it, she slowly walked over to the backyard and sat down a bench near the pond.
Anwen let her sister to take care of those guys by herself at least for now. She had too much to think about.
Dan.
Did he really think that about her lyrics? Did he like her songs? Did he like the way she played and her voice?
He did say that, but she refused to believe it. That would make her fall even more for him - that adorable guy complimenting her; who wouldn't have even the slightest crush?
Anwen tried with all her strenght to block those thoughts, but she failed miserably. She also was thinking about his song. She'd love to do something with him, like a collaboration on a song, some lyric-writing or composing together. She thought about it; maybe it wasn't such a bad idea. Maybe he'd want that to. She decided to ask him about it later.
''Why later?''
''Do it now. He's just upstairs. Go.''
''What's the worst he could say? 'No, I'm sorry, I can't' or maybe 'I don't want to'. That's not even that bad. Aren't you the badass independant Baines sister? Don't be afraid!'' She mentally yelled at herself, and finally decided.
