After seven hours of messing around in the studio and by coincidence recording about 6 songs, the four of them walked out of the secret hiding place, tired and starving, but still somehow buzzing.

- God, this is awesome. You'll be millionaires. Your music is so good. - Carys said, nudging Dan and Kyle.

- She's right, - Anwen laughed. - You'll be freaking rich in no time after we post these. Zillions of producers and recording company owners will look for you and you'll get a contract in an awesome label and your album will be number one in all countries and your singles will be on the top of Billboard, getting platinum, no, golden everywhere, and then you will be shitting money. You write that down.

Kyle and Carys laughed, and he took the compliments well, but Dan was rather uncomfortable.

- It's- it's really not that good. And it's mostly because you were with us- this is all because of you. I mean, without you it wouldn't have happened. - He stammered. - It's all because of you. - He repeated quietly.

- No, Dan, listen to me. - Carys said, getting closer to him as they reached the kitchen. - It's all because of you

She didn't need to say anything else for him - and the rest of them - to understand. He quietly nodded and smiled sheepishly, pulling her into a squashing hug.

She laughed and patted his back.

- Yeah, you're welcome.

They chatted for a while and decided to go out for dinner. Anwen and Carys rushed upstairs to get changed into decent clothes and out of their baggy t-shirts and shorts. While they crossed the corridor, they heard voices -- an angry masculine voice they nearly immediately recognized as their father's while he argued over the phone.

''But Jess, I've already told you I can't go now.'' He made a pause. ''What do you mean the 'boss says right now'?! I am the fricking boss you little-'' Another pause. ''Oh. Okay, okay. He'll see who's the 'incompetent shit'.''

And with that Eus stormed out of his room, tie half undone, shoes off and blazer hanging off one shoulder, seeming as pissed as he's ever been -- or at least as pissed as the girls have ever seen.

- D-dad? - Carys stammered, looking at him as he walked past them, not giving them any attention. - Is everything okay? Are you okay? When did you get home?

- It's just work. - He grumbled.

- How was your day? And the trip? Did you get any new stories-

- Not now, Carys. - He spat, disappearing down the stairs.

Carys was truly hurt by the way he'd treated her, and Anwen could sense it. He was never like that with the blonde, but with Anwen... oh, he was much worse. And she had to deal with it alone; no friends, no sister, not even a mum to help.

While Anwen mentally cursed her father for treating Carys that way as she wrapped her arms around her sister's slim frame, leading her to her bedroom, Carys' face was blank, completely expressionless; she was hurt, but not only that -- she was shocked, stunned, sad, but starting to comprehend things. Anwen was completely pissed off, but Carys, on the other hand, was understanding everything -- where did Anwen's anger problems come from.
