When She Fall

When she first met him, she didn't really expect anything to turn things the way they are now. She expected it to be just the same conversation she had with the other guys she met...but it turned out that he's different from them because...he is a man.

A man with integrity and knowledge about life. He had his ups and down. Went through tough twists and turns. He survived all those challenges and turned to be a man with strength---not just in physical aspect but emotionally and intellectually. He sees life like no other guys she met. He views things the way she views it and they both share it with each other. It was a big surprise to her when she discovered all these. When she realized, someone like him still exist.

They seem to be in the same boat when it comes to opinions, views and goals in life. As if they were destined to share and accomplish all those together. When he sees her as a girl who's just starting to live her life. She sees him as a successful man with the world in his hands.

It's such an amazing feeling for her to feel him near. To see him smile and hear him laugh because of what she knew he had experienced in the past. She wondered how he get through all of it...and hoped she was there during his weakest days. So she tried her best to be the best friend he ever had. To make him smile and laugh and make him feel that she's there for him always. And she's contented when she saw those smiles that radiates into his eyes. Now, that's a beautiful sight to see. And the joy in her heart lingers until the time she fell asleep. For the man she care for finally smiled genuinely.

She started to admire him secretly. Too afraid to admit even to herself the feeling that's growing inside her innocent heart. The irregular beat of her heart when they talk. The butterflies in her stomach when they take a walk. How their simple conversation completes her day. How his voice makes her feel okay. It's all new to her for no guy or man made her feel that way. He started to get inside her mind whenever she's not doing anything. She started to feel jealous when he's talking with the other girls. And she gets into a bad mood when she's not able to talk to him. And how his handsome face invaded her dreams. Then one day she woke up, and she realized she's already falling. Hard and fast. A warning sign started to flicker...and so she started to avoid him and take her time to think things clearly.

She started to doubt again. Started to question her worth. Asked things like, "if he deserves a simple girl like her," or "if her feelings is worth the risk for their friendship". Her thoughts were clouded by 'what ifs'. And as days past by, she's starting to drift away. Away from her happiness and the man who she thought she doesn't deserved.

Will he save her from all the doubts and insecurities that's drowning her? Or he'll just let her face her own storm alone?
