Within the hour the Guard came knocking at out door, calling, "Miss Carpenter, it's time to get ready to leave."

I was packed, my small bag in the military grade jeep, with me along with it, traveling out of town to the airstrip. My mother and father had hugged me whispered words of encouragement to me. Aspen snickered and teasingly told me to not get my hopes up followed by a very manly shout of pain from my punch. Grey had thrown his arms around me and asked if I could get a sweet for him. I sighed knowing I wouldn't see them for a while.

"SO, Miss Carpenter a few questions."

I turned to the Knight-in-honour,  who had startled me.

She raised her hand to her emblem and toyed with it, "sorry I didn't mean to do that," offering me a sheepish smile." I blinked, surprised at her... well, humanity.

Oh it's alright" I said, "needed something to do anyway."

She cleared her throat, "Anyway," Getting straight to business, ok , "question 1, are you a virgin?"

I felt blood rush to my face, "umm," I coughed, "well in what... er... way?"

She blinked, "well... penetration of course."

I coughed again, "oh" I nervously laughed, "of course, um yes."

She smiled and lifted a brow, "I see." I looked down praying for this moment to end, before I jumped out of the car.

"question 2, how many romantic relationships have you been in." If I wasn't bright red earlier I definitely was now.

"umm... 5?"

She looked at me, eyebrow arched.

"Is that a question?"

"NO, i mean no ma'am, its uh 5 relationships."

I breathed, "The -uh-  last one ended...roughly."

She nodded and moved on, "last question, have you smoked or consumed alcohol before?"

"No ma'am, just a sip of wine at Winter Holiday and Old Spring day if we are lucky."

She nodded, "all right we will be arriving in just under an hour."

I groaned and dropped across the two seated leather seats. I heard her laugh and I winced, mostly because if I was this much of a wreck before meeting the Royal Family, I might as well tell the driver to turn around now.
