By the time I get back home I have only half an hour to get ready for school. I race upstairs before my dad can interrogate me on what happened. I didn't even need to look in a mirror to confirm that my face looked like a bright red tomato. I could feel the heat radiating off of me. I was red of course from the running but I'm pretty sure I was also red from the boy in the woods. Liam.
I could still hear his voice and see his pale green eyes in my head. I wonder if I'll ever see him again.I quickly have a shower and walk into my beige-carpeted room. Luckily my dad's 'Team' had the house set up with all our old stuff before we had moved in. My room was nice with lavender walls and multiple family photos with some posters of my favourite bands and movies here and there. There were three main things I loved about my room. 1)My comfortable Queen sized bed, 2)It's an en-suite and last but not least 3)My Window Seat which is facing the woods.
I walk over to my closet and look at my options which I hate to say, isn't that much. Not having a motherly figure has its toll. I decide on something simple. Grey hoodie, black plain shirt, black skinny jeans, ankle boots and for the finale gold stud earrings and my mom's wedding ring which sits perfectly on my middle finger.
I walk over to my vanity table and brush my hair placing it in a high ponytail. I don't wear makeup because I don't see the point. Natural beauty is the best. I look in my mirror and take a deep breath.
School time is near. Bring it on.

My dad drops me off at 08:00. Right on time. For once. There are lots of teenagers walking around trying to get into the school. I'm thankful that nobody has taken notice of me. I take another deep breath and join the crowd and soon I'm carried to what I can only assume is the front of the school. I take ahold of my bag straps and try and focus on my breathing. I hate big crowds. When in the school I try and look for the Main Office. I need to get my locker code and my timetable. People are slowly realising that there's a new face in the crowd. There's a group of girls that are watching me like hawks. Probably thinking I'm Freshmeat or a new friend. I prefer the second one. "Harrison? Julia?"
I turn around and see an older looking girl dressed in a flowery dress with heels.
"Yeah?"
"Oh good. I thought for a moment that I got the wrong person."
I smile not showing my teeth. I look at her quizzically and soon she catches on.
"I'm Jennifer Lee. I'm a Senior and I've been assigned to show you around the school. Help you out and whatnot."
"Oh okay. I'm actually just looking for the Main Office?"
She smiles down at me and starts walking down the hall. I look around and start speed walking after her. Man, she's tall and a fast walker.
"I'm guessing you still need your locker code and timetable?"
I nod my head but realise she can't see me so I say,"Yeah. Just those things."
Jennifer is slowing down and I assume we're close to the Office. We finally get to a place that has glass windows with desks and computers inside. There are plush seats outside facing away from the office.
"Why don't you just sit here and I'll sort out your things?"
"Oh. Thanks!" I smile awkwardly.
I sit down and put my bag between my legs. I decide to people-watch.
"Julia?"
