Several months and now, I already have a fixed occupation. I am a civil engineer in a massive company, UEM Builders Sdn Bhd. Later on, I was appointed as the best worker after years of working and I was also being rewarded a bonus for the month. So, I decided to take a leave and go for a short vacation to the famous historical island in the country, Langkawi Island. I was going to go to the island alone to enjoy some lone time and freed myself from mountains of workload in my office. The thought of being able to do whatever I desire and to go wherever I like made me feel the excitement weeks before the exact vacation date.

I booked a room in the 5-star hotel for three days and two nights stay. I unpacked some of my things upon arrival and was amazed by the room's interior design. The pastel-coloured wallpaper really were able to keep my heart at peace. I couldn't believe that the big and cosy room would be the place where I would be staying for the next two days while having fun during my short vacation there. I walked to the sliding doors attached to a balcony protruding from the room and gazed outside. The vast view of the beach were really breath-taking. I inhaled the breezy air with my eyes shut closed, trying to feel the fresh air and the wonderful feeling of being at peace. Several minutes of doing it, and suddenly something caught my attention. Someone down there, very far at the beach was a black hoodie guy staring directly at me. Maybe I was mistaken for a while. It was impossible for that same guy to follow me wherever I go since I had never seen him for years now. And now could he possibly be back? I shuddered by the thoughts and quickly made my way back into my room, closing the sliding doors and the curtains.

I slumped myself on the king-sized bed and stared at the white ceiling. I tried to be as calm as possible, trying to remind myself that it was quite hard to get a three days' off from work and that I should utilise the time very well. I shouldn't be thinking about the stupid crush of a psycho guy that has been bothering me for the past years. Not long after, I drifted off to sleep with my shawl still wrapping my head and my handbag was by my side. Slowly, everything that had happened years ago kept playing through my dream. In it, I saw everything that he did to me all this time and how the things he did had sabotaged my life very badly. I experienced a mere downfall nearly every time he came intervening my balanced life.
