Camson Brown and Bella Smith had never been so terrified in their entire lives. He was the hunter and they were the prey. He had taken everything from them. They did everything they could to get away from him but he still managed to follow them. He was always there. Always watching. Always waiting for the right moment for strike.
He was the one to taint them both. He was the one that made them afraid at night. He was the one who plagued that thoughts and brought on anxiety that crippled them. He brought the fear that they could never really escape. He was everything they despised. He is everything they wished they could forget. He laughed, because he knew this and was loving every moment of the horrifying truth that was now revealed. Bella hiding, helpless behind a petrified Cam. They froze like a deer in the headlights of a car. He had control over them and their lives. He loved them. They hated him.
Three months was how long it took to find the bodies. Three months it took for Carissa to search and search for her best friend. Three months it took for Cam's soccer team to let go of balloons for her. Three months it took for Bella's family to crumble to pieces. It only took one second for him to take their lives. It took only one second to cause the massive pain that shook their families. Three months it gave him to move onto his next obsession.
It took three months for Bella Smith and Camson Brown to be declared as not missing, but dead. It took one second for the worlds of their families to crash.
It took only one second to raise the gun to Bella's head and pull the trigger.
It only took one second to fire a second bullet into Cam.
It took three months for everyone to finally realize what had happened the day Bella had beat up the new kid in school. He stunned the cities in Seattle. He stunned everyone when the cops finally caught him. He shocked everyone when the cops went to grab him as he pulled out his gun, and without hesitation, shot himself right in between the eyes. The families never got the satisfying factor of seeing him get thrown into jail. He was just too good at causing so much pain.
He was just too smart in his maniacal ways.
He was the kiss of death but even he had to come to an end some day.
