Once again, Sci woke up feeling terrible. This time, he was sprawled on his back in the middle of the hallway. His chest burned, but he felt a little better than before.
Ra cautiously came out of his room. "Morning, Sparky. How ya feeling?"
"Fine, I guess. But I woke up in the hallway, which is strange."
"Remember anything particularly. . . eventful last night?" Ra asked as he helped Sci to his feet.
Sci paused. "I had a weird dream that I was chasing you around with fire coming from my hands. But it didn't really feel like me."
Ra chuckled. "Not a dream, kid. You went full on, crazy Scorpio. But you're fine now. I'm fine too, just in case you were wondering. Any other dreams?"
"No other dreams. Lot's of memories though."
Sarui strolled out of her room and walked straight into Ra. She crinkled her nose and was about to insult him when she saw Sci.
"Morning," she said, flashing a toothy smile. "Want some breakfast? I was about to make pancakes."
"You never make pancakes for me," Ra whined.
"I don't like you that much," she retorted.
"Pancakes sound good," Sci said as he followed Sarui to the kitchen.
Eran was waiting tentatively at the kitchen table. "I have news."
Sarui and Ra sobered at Eran's disposition and seemingly harmless words.
"I've found Sur and Cori. It seems as if they're unawakened, but there's another matter. I was contacted by someone claiming to know about our... situation. He says that he can help us."
"Let's find Sur and Cori first. It would be safer to go together. And if you know where they are, he might know too," said Sarui.
"Let's split up. Sarui, Sci, and I will go get Sur and Cori while you and Meg and Ini go meet this mystery person."
Eran nodded slowly. "Go now. Be safe, please."
