As soon as Ra opened the door he heard footsteps rushing towards him. He took a deep but shaky breath and stood his ground.
Scorpio came into view. His eyes were still burning with fury and his hands still fiery. Ra winced and started swinging the mirror according to Eran's instructions.
As soon as Scorpio saw the mirror he froze in place. There was still fury in his eyes and his hands had not extinguished, but he was absolutely still.
Ra let out a heavy sigh of relief and carefully approached Scorpio. "Let's see," he said aloud. Ra held out his hand and a shimmering pair of scales materialized. He held it by the base and put it in front of Sci. "Tsk tsk 100 to 0. Shame shame brother. How shall I adjust you though? 50 to 50? 40 to 60?"
Ra fingered the mirror and shone it on Sci so that it reflect a beam of light onto his face. Ra studied it and nodded. "Yes, yes 40 to 60 should be safe."
Ra closed his eyes and began pulling essence from Sci's body and putting it onto the scale. Slowly the spirit of Scorpio faded, as did the fury and fire. When Ra finished he stood back to look at Sci. He smiled to himself and gave Sci a pat on the head.
"I'm exhausted! Eran didn't say what to do with you afterwards, so I'll just leave you here. G'night kid," he said as he left the unconscious Sci lying on the floor in the middle of the hallway.
