Apollo inhaled a doubtful breath as he pulled up to a coffee shop. The shop itself looked normal and modern, displaying a simple sign and being moderately filled with young adults ordering coffee. A single prescene inside the shop was what was making Eran nervous. An inexplicably powerful and divine aura was located inside the coffee shop, meaning one thing: a god.
Eran looked over at Meg and Ini, who had also felt the god's aura. She shot him a reassuring smile and nodded.
They both exited from the car and strolled in to the shop, feigning an air of casualty as best they could. The normal people payed them little mind, writing them off as regular people and went on with their conversations and such.
Eran's eyes scanned the occupied tables and settled on a man sitting alone and facing away from them. From the back, little could be observed except his neatly cut golden hair and broad shoulders. He looked to be wearing an impressive leather jacket and was casually drinking a steaming cup of black coffee.
Eran led the way to the man, each step closer making him feel increasingly more unsteady and slightly woozy. Glancing over to Meg and Ini, he found that she showed no sign of fear.
"Excuse me, may we sit here?"
The god briefly looked over Eran as well as Meg and Ini. He lingered on their eyes and nodded silently. The god's eyes made Eran shiver in awe; they were a slightly darker golden color than his hair and were flecked with a stunningly beautiful hue of silver. His skin glowed only the way a god's could and his face was softly angled. On his wrist lay a braclet crafted from small laurel branches.
"Apollo," Meg and Ini breathed out, struggling to look unimpressed.
Apollo answered with a less than genuine, albeit dazzling, smile. "Gemini and Cancer."
Eran nodded and sat across from the god.
"What is it that you wish to discuss with lowly constellations?"
Apollo smiled again. "I have much to discuss and even more to provide, if you wish to hear me out."
Meg and Ini nodded without hesitation and motioned for the god to continue.
"I, like many others, am aware of your situation with the Hunter, Orion." Eran's brows met in a quick furrow in reaction to the name of the Hunter. "I am here to offer my asistance."
Eran eyed the handsome god suspiciously. "How could that possibly benefit you?"
Apollo winced slightly. "The outcome of assisting the remaining of you would be incredibly beneficial to me, but I can not disclose why. The dealings of gods and such," he answered casually.
"What could you do that would help us?" Meg and Ini piped in curiously.
"Provide information, whisk you away from danger at certain moments, and, perhaps, give you a way to kill the Hunter and end your curse."
