At the same time, there was a cargo ship that stranded at the shores of the East of Actania. During the nighttime nobody on Actania remained outside due to the weather. The next morning Yu and Kyra walked to the Eastern beach. They encountered the stranded ship. They entered the ship and found nobody in there. The crew fled the ship. Inside, they found much apples, pears, berries and cherries in pots. Furthermore, they found much bronze sculptures and bags with spices. The cargo ship was a small one. The sails were gone and the wreck was in a terrible state. Kyra went to another farm, further away, and asked two men to help them unload the wreck. Those men decided to keep their mouths shut. The men took mch of the pears and berries, while they dropped the rest at Kyra's house (the bronze included). After the men left, Kyra noticed that the bronze objects were Norse. There was also a bag with Norse currency.

''Where was this ship heading?''

''Í have no Idea, Yu, they might have been on their way to Britain or to Gaul. Nevertheless, I believe that the storm had shipwrecked and killed the sailor. That happens sometimes. A lot of Frisians suffer shipwreck while trading. Trading is a very dangerous job. Many people choose to remain farmers or to work for Romans that build their villas in our country.''

''You have siblings?''

''Yes, four sisters. They live on mainland Frisia. They are married. My parents live near the Vidrus river. They work at a Roman court. They earn well.''

''Why are you here?''

''After our journey to Scandinavia I wanted to live quietly far from city live. This island is perfect. And the people here are friendly to me. I have friends here. This tiny farm used to be owned by the son of a chieftain. He died almost 20 years ago. The place was forgotten in the forest. One day, me and some friends, were walking in the forests. We found this place. Around a year ago. I wanted to live here. The island previous chieftain, which is basically the king here, permitted it. He died several weeks ago. His son, who was a merchant in Gaul, took over the leadership. Everyone knows everyone around here. It's a safe place to live.''

''Don't you want to travel around?''

''Maybe... travelling is a dangerous business. A lot of people leave and never return. They end up killed or taken capture. The Romans made the commerce on sea safer by forcing their navy fleet unto the shores of these countries. Nevertheless, most people like to remain close to home. I'm one of them.''

''I really like to visit Scandinavia once..''

''By the way, shouldn't you look for that Roman?''

''Oh dear! You're right.''

''Come on!''

Both youngsters walk towards the harbour. There they encounter the Rhaetian, eating a fish dish together with some elders. The Rhaetian has no idea that Yu understands a dialect of Celtic-German. He believed, when he saw the two women, that Yu got lost and that a local brought her back. Brutus and Bruce brought her back to her room. Kyra requested the Roman to join them. He accepted it. They would depare the next morning. Kyra, that night, together with two younger blokes, emptied her house - all the food supplies taken from the shipwreck and the leftovers of nuts she had - were placed on the ship. Also, the bag with Norse currency were taken by Kyra. Kyra and Yu remained in the same room. The goats she left behind would be taken care off by the community. One the island there was no private ownership of livestock.

The Rhaetian departed from Actania and sailed across the shores of the Angli, Saxony and Cimbri tribes until crossing the middle sea over to Norway. He arrived at the big bay region, where many Roman veterans lived in their villas. There was also trading settlement there. The actual time of travel was three and a half full days. After arrival, he is approached by some Norsemen who inquire what's he's doing.
