Chapter 10. (The Author notes are chapters as well)

Okay so. I missed the first part for Regionals. Because I slept through it. I know. Im horrible. But, I know what's going on now. Sort of... If anyone can tell me what is going on, it will help me with the second book. This is Riley's P.O.V still.. ANYWAYS, Enough of me talking and on with the update!

"Seeds needs a dancer? But, West your with us... Your team. Are you seriously going to just throw our chances of winning against Elite away?" Emily brusts out.

West looks at her and shakes his head.

"I want us to win! I just want to help them go into the next round so we can whip their asses."

If we had Daniel on the team still, then West would be able to do it. But, since Daniel hurt his ankle doing the helicopter with Giselle, He's out for the rest of the season. Which sucks because right now, We need Daniel. Sooooo bad.

"Dude,We're a team. You should be helping us... Not Seeds." James says, looking at Michelle and Emily.

Michelle sighed, which caused Emily to look at her rudely.

"Michelle, Your not going to let him do it, are you?" She asks.

"Well...." Michelle starts, "West should do it. He can dance for Seeds and then come back and dance for us. They need 10 people and they only have 9. But, If West joins, then they have 10 and they'll be able to compete."

West smiles at Michelle. "Excatly. Then we can kick some ass!"

I nodded in agreement with West and Michelle.

"I know that West shouldn't do it but, I really think he should. Seeds doesn't really know another dancers like they know West and besides, West would never go against The Next Step... Right West??" I say, looking at him. He looks up at me and shrugs. We all look at him. West... No..

"Well..." He starts, "I was actually thinking of quiting The Next Step.... I want to be with my old Crew. Seeds needs me more than you guys need me."

"WHAT?!" Emily and Michelle scream. "THAT'S NOT RIGHT! WE HAD YOU FIRST. SEEDS SHOULDN'T HAVE ASKED YOU TO JOIN THEIR TEAM." They both scream again.

"Guys. It's his choice... Whatever you decide, just tell Kate and Chris." I say, calmly.

"Riley, what are you doing?!" Em yells.

"I'm doing what's right. Letting West join Seeds." I say.

West smiles and walks towards Kate and Chris. He must've told them that he's joining Seeds because Kate and Chris are walking over to us really sad.

"West has decided to join Seeds for the competition...Which means.. We can't step out on stage unless we have a 10th memember.." Kate says, looking at her hands.

"Wait! What about someone from B-Troupe? They've been watching rehersals and someone should know the moves..." James shouts out.

"Yeah" I add. "I'm sure Beth or Charlie knows the routine."

"God, I hope Charlie knows it better than Beth." James says, looking at me.

We all laugh.

"We do too James, We do too." We all say. Kate smiles and decides to call someone for B-Troupe. After awhile, she walks back over to us.

"Charlie sprained his ankle and Beth was the only one that knew the routine out of the rest of B-Troupe. So, I'm sorry James but, Beth is taking West's spot... Don't worry. I told her that she can't flirt with you untill we win or whatever happens to us." Kate explains. We all nod and go to get ready. Minutes later, like 5 minutes before we have to go on stage to perform, Beth shows up. Surprise, Surprise. She's late.

"Hey guys!" Beth says, smiling at James.

"YOU'RE LATE!" We all scream and push her into a change room to change.

~~~~~~~~~~~I'm skipping to when they pick the winner for Regionals. I know that haven't done that in the actually show yet but, this is just a fanfiction... And, It's my imagination. So. Yeah. xD~~~~~~~

We're standing on stage with the 3 other dance teams that made it to the final round. There's us, Elite, Dance Academy, and Seeds.  The Judges give the annoucer a card. They made their choice. If we win, We beat Elite. For the first time ever! OMG. I'm so scared.

"And, In Third place we have......" The Annoucer says, "Seeds!" I smirk at West and continue squeezing James' hand.

"And.... The winner of the Regionals Dance Competition is...." Silence fills the room. We all hold hands and close our eyes.

"THE NEXT STEP STUDIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" The Annoucer yells into the mic.

Wait. We won? WE WON! OMG. WE BEAT ELITE!!! YESHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

"OMG! GUYS!!! WE BEAT ELITE!!!!" I say, screaming backstage.

"We sooo deserved too! They were... well.. They weren't good enough to beat us so. Yeah!" Michelle and Emily add.

James pulls me aside and looks at me.

"What?" I ask.

"I need to tell you something.." He says.

He grabs my hands and looks at me.

Oh God. He's going to ask me to marry him. Pshhh. Noooo. We're too young.

"Riley, You know I love you but.."

"But what, James?"

"I asked Beth to be my girlfriend... We're getting back together."

I must be dreaming..

"But I-"

"I'm sorry Riley." He kisses my head and then walks out with Beth. URGH!

I sit down on the bench backstage and start to cry. I'm guessing Chloe, Michelle and Em heard me because they rushed over to me as soon as I sat down.

"Riles.. What happend??" Em asked.

"James... James...." I can't even say it.

"He what, Riley?" Michelle asks.

"James... James..." I sigh. "James broke up with me for that bitch Beth."

They look at me suprised because I swore. Yeah. I know. Miss goody two shoes swore.

"He broke up with you... For Beth?" Em asks.

I nod and start to cry again.

"That's it. Beth doesn't know what's coming for her." Em stands up and walks out after James and Beth.

"Em... Don't" But, It's too late. She's yelling at James. I can hear her. Michelle and Chloe sit on either side of me. Michelle on my right and Chloe on my left.

"Riley, He doesn't know what he's gotten himself into." Chloe says.

"Yeah! He's missing out on a great girl, Riles." Michelle adds.

"Thanks for trying guys but... I can't."

"What do you mean you 'Can't'"

"I'm quiting dance." And with that, I walk out of the building and go home.
