Chapter 6

Riley's P.O.V

James and I have a date in 20 minutes. And to be honest, Im scared. Em has told me to calm down 5 times already. I get a text from James. I pick my phone up and look at the text.

From: James

To: Riles

Hey Riles. I'm on my way. Make sure your ready. : )

I smile and text him back.

To: James

From: Riles

I will be.

From: James

To: Riles

Okay. I'm on my way. Be ready within 5 minutes. See ya then Cutie.

Did James just call me cutie? OMG. Riley, you can not fall for him.

what are you saying?! You know you love James. you HAVE feelings for HIM. Don't deny it. Just because I'm your conscience does not mean you get to lie to me about who you like and dislike.

Oh shut up Conscience.

I will not shut up. Don't tell me to shut up. Riley, I'm trying to tell you to make a move when James comes. Just kiss him. I know you like him. Don't deny it! All of your friends know. Chloe, Michelle, Tiffany, Stephanie.... Even your SISTER knows. She is helping you.

"Earth to Riley." I hear Emily say.

"Huh?! Oh. Sorry Em. I zoned."

"Mhmm.. Sure. Your thinking about James, aren't you?" She asks.

Don't lie to your sister...... You just got her back.....

"Yes.."

"AWWWWW!!!" She runs over and hugs me.

"EMILY! You're messing up my outfit!" I say, pushing her away.

"Oh. Sorry." She says and backs away to look at me.

"Now Riley, Mom and Dad aren't home so I get to say this..."

"Oh no... Not the "Date Talk""

"Riley, Someone has to explain it to you..."

"But, Dad already talked to James and I about it. No making out in public places. Don't do anything any couple would do in public..."

"Oh. I guess he has.."

Just as I'm about to say something, I hear a car horn honk.

"That must be James." I say, going to get my bag. "I'll be back before 9. I promise."

"Okay. And, When you get home, We're calling the former E-Girls so you can tell us the deeds of your date."

I nod, smile and then laugh.

"Okay Em."

"Have fun... But. not too much fun."

"I will.. Byee Em."

I walk outside and over to James' car. I get in and smile at him.

"I'm glad we're doing this... Maybe people will finally get off our backs.." I say and he nods in agreement.

"So, Where are we going?" I ask.

"It's a surprise."

"I hate surprises!" I say, pouting.

"Oh C'mon Riles. Cheer up. You'll like this."

"Fine."

The next 20 minutes is pure silence. To cut off the silence, I turn on the radio and "Addicted to you" comes on. I go to sing but, I remember what happened the last time this song came on. James and I got into that terrible car accident. I still think that it's may fault. Everyone tells me that it isnt. But, It is.

We finally arrive and James goes and opens my door.

"Thanks."

"Your welcome." He takes me hand and starts walking. He opens the door and says, "After you, Mah lady"

I giggle and walk in.

We sit down at the table and a girl walks over. Chloe? No way.

"Hi How may I help yo- Riley? James? Is that you?" Chloe asks. I can tell she's embarrassed.

"Yeah.. It's us."

"Oh wow! It's so nice to see you here."

"Yeah.. You too.... By the way, what are you doing here? Do you work here?" James asks.

She sighs and nods.

"Yes. I work here. Just.... please. Do not tell anyone. You guys and Michelle are the only ones that know.... Please. Keep it that way."

James and I look at each other and nod.

"Okay. Deal."

She smiles.

"Anyways, What can I get you guys?"

"Umm...." James says, looking at the menu.

"I'll have a medium coke and  the small fries combo" I say, looking at  Chloe.

She nods and looks at James.

"I'll just have a medium pepsi and make that the medium fries combo." He says.

"Okay. I'll be back." She says and then walks off.

"So..."

"So..."

"Riles..."

"James..."

20 minutes later, Chloe comes back with our food and drinks.

"Here you go. When you are done, just leave the money on the table."

"Okay. Thanks, Chlo"

"You're welcome. Have a nice night." She walks off and over to her boss. I look at them talk and when they notice me, I look away quickly.

After James and I finish our food and pay, We walk out to the car and get in.

"Thanks for an amazing night James."

"Your Welcome, Riles."

He leans in and kisses me. I kiss him back. We both pull away and smile. I look down and blush while James starts driving.

Once we get home, He walks me to the doorstep and kisses me lightly. I kiss him back and watch him leave afterwards.

I walk inside to see Emily, Michelle, Tiffany, Stephanie and Giselle stare at me.

"WELL?!" They scream.

"He kissed me.. Twice."

"AWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Riley is in love! Riley is in love!" They chant.

"SHHHHHHHHHHTTTTTT!"

They stop and look at me then randomly start laughing.

This is going to be a loooooooonnnnnnnngggggggg night.

A/N I know you guys waited a long time for this Jiley Chapter and here it is! Chapter 7 will be about Jiley but also about Regionals. I hope you guys enjoyed it!
