Chapter 7. Regionals Part One

Riley's P.O.V

Today is the day that we've been waiting for. Regionals. Regionals is a state competition that comes before Nationals. Only 5 out of 1000 groups makes it to Nationals every year and this year, that's going to be us. We have James, Stephanie, Emily and Giselle back and that's all that matters. Most importantly, We have our team back. Kate is in our dressing room with us. She and Chris are only in the dressing room because she wants to make sure we look really good. Good enough to beat Elite and Seeds. Seeds is a street dance crew that West used to be apart of. I think he's still apart of it but, I'm not too sure. I really hope he stays with us for Regionals.

As we walk out of the dressing room, Steph and Em spot Elite and tell us to keep it cool.

"Well, Well, Well. If It isn't The Next Step Studio." Kaeleah says.

"Move." Steph says all sassy.

Kaeleah laughs and smiles lightly. "Make me. You and your little friend.... What's her name? Amanda? Emma? Oh that's right. Emily. You guys don't have ANY talent what so ever and that just proves that we're going to beat you at Regionals and Nations this year. I mean, If you make it to Nationals."

"Would you just shut up and let us through? We're on stage in 20 minutes." I say, trying to shove my way through the Elite team but, Kaeleah stops me and pushes me to the ground.  Emily, Stephanie and James rush to my side.

"Riles... She's not worth it. She's not worth anything!" Em says, helping me up.

"Whatever. Let's just kick their ass." I say, walking off. Everyone follows me except for Emily.

"What? Is little Emily lost?" Kaeleah says in a baby voice.

"No. I'm not lost. My team is over there."

"Oh Please. I bet you wish you were still at Elite."

"Oh Please. The Next Step Studio is sooo much better than Elite."

Emily knew what she said wasn't true. Elite is better than The Next Step Studio. We all know that.

"Em. C'mon." Michelle says, telling her to come with us.

"I'm coming.." She says. "You better watch your back, Kaeleah."  And with that, Emily walks over to us.

"What was that all about?" Michelle asks.

"Nothing... I swear.  Let's just beat Seeds and Elite's butt!"

"YEAH!" We all scream.

"And next up in the Junior Catergory, We have The Next Step Studiooooooooooooooo!" The announcer says as we all run on stage and take our places.

"We did amazing guys! We are sooooo going to win!" Emily says.

"Or atleast move onto Nationals." James and I say.

Everyone nods their heads in agreement to mine and James comment. I mean, it would be awesome to win but, Elite and Seeds were amazing.

West runs into the room and looks at the team.

"Guys... I have something to tell you.." He says.

"What is it West?" Michelle says.

"Seeds is missing a dancer for their Regionals routine and they want me to take the part... And, I think I might do that.."

A/N I AM SOOOOOOOOO SORRY THAT YOU GUYS HAD TO WAIT ALMOST A MONTH FOR THIS CHAPTER!!!! THIS IS ONLY PART ONE OF REGIONALS!!!!! PART TWO WILL BE UPLOADED LATER TODAY AND PART THREE WILL BE UPLOADED WHEN I GET MY IPOD!(WHICH IS ALSO SOMETIME THIS WEEK. IM HOPING IT'S BEFORE THRUSDAY.... HOPEFULLY TODAY!!!!! IF NOT, THEN I HOPE IT'S TOMORROW OR WEDNESDAY!) ANYWAYS, I HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS CHAPTER AND COMMENT WHAT YOU THINK WEST WILL DO AND WHAT THE TEAM WILL SAY TO HIM POSSIBLY JOINING THE "SEEDS" TEAM.
