Michael's Pov

Today is the day, the day I'm going to propose to Emma. I woke up earlier than her for a change today and decided to make her some breakfast. I got everything out to try and make her some pancakes. They key word here is try. I quickly mixed up the batter knowing she was probably gonna wake up soon. I put enough for three pancakes on the pan and impatiently waited for them to finish. Once they did I put them on a plate and grabbed a bottle of orange juice heading up to our room. I carefully opened the door and let out a breath of relief seeing that she was still sleeping.

"Kitten, I made you some breakfast." I said putting the plate on the dresser and sat next to her shaking her a bit.

"Come on I actually have plans for us today, I know you don't want to but you need to get up baby." I said then leaning down to kiss her temple. I saw her smile slightly and her eyes opened.

"There's those pretty eyes." I said smiling and she put the blanket over her face.

"Who knew that even after 6 months of dating I can still make you blush." I said pulling the blanket down and she giggled.

"I heard you say something about breakfast." She said with a hopeful face and I just smiled.

"Of course you would want breakfast and not to spend time with me." I jokingly said

"Hey I didn't say that! I just really want some food then we can cuddle okay." She said and I nodded.

"Actually we sadly enough we don't have much time for cuddling. I've planned the whole day out today." I said proudly and she smiled.

"Okay then, I'll get ready after I eat." She said and I nodded kissing her head and going downstairs to find Calum 

"Hey Cal, you still got it?" I asked nervously and looking around

"Yeah mate, I got it. Calm down alright." He said putting a hand on my shoulder and I nodded.

"i'll try my best but it's kinda hard to consider what it is gonna be happening in a matter of hours."

"I understand, now go get ready and I will see you in a couple hours. Good luck mate." I thanked him and went back upstairs and heard the shower running. I walked over to the closet and pulled out a decent looking pair of pants and shirt then got dressed. I went over to the mirror and tried making my hair look good. 

"You look perfect Michael. Quit worrying." I heard Emma say coming out drying her hair and I smiled at the complement.

"So what exactly do you planned for today?" 

"That is for me to know and for you to find out." I said and She groaned.

"Well the faster you get ready the faster we can go on with our day." I joked around and she stuck her tongue out at me. 

"It's a good thing I am ready then huh." She said grabbing her purse and I laughed shaking my head.

"I don't understand you."

Our first stop was the ice cream place that we had out first date at.

"I haven't been here in so long." She said smiling

"I know, that's why I wanted to take you here." 

"I love you, you know that right." She said looking over at me and I just smiled

"Yes I do know that, I love you too. Now shall we get some ice cream.

After we got ice we stopped at her favorite store and I bought some things for her and surprisingly she gave in easily. We got some lunch and know we were at the spot. I told her we were here for a little outdoor movie night with the boys and Bea. She bought it.

"Hey guys." I said swinging our interlaced fingers back and forth.

"There you guys are!" Ashton called motioning for us to come sit and we did as the movie on the big screen started playing. As the movie played my hands just got sweatier and sweatier.

"Are you okay sweetie?" Emma asked and I just nodded kissing her cheek. I looked over and Calum giving him a nod as we both got up.

"I'll be right back." I said kissing her head and she nodded.

"Did you bring my guitar?" I asked trying to calm down but I just couldn't

"Yes and I have the ring. So here just breathe and go out there tiger." He said pushing in the direction to where I was gonna walk out.

Once I got to the screen I saw Luke pause the movie and I started strumming slowly.

"It's a beautiful night, we're looking for something dumb to do, hey baby, I think I wanna marry you." I softly sang but loud enough for them to hear. You could see that Bea was smiling and almost in tears and Emma looked confused. I smiled as Bea stood her up and pushed her over to where I was.

"Michael, what are you doing?"

"Is it the look in your eyes, or is it this dancing juice, who cares baby, I think I wanna marry you." I said singing the last bit with a smile on my face. I slid my guitar around and took her hands in mine.

"Emma, I've come to realise that you are in fact the love on my life and there's no other person I need to spend the rest of my life with. I love you with every bone in my body and you make the happiest I've ever been. Saying this out loud I know that this is truly what I want. And what I want is." I paused getting down on one knee and she gasped as a few tears ran down her cheeks as some came to my eyes and I felt her thumb swipe across my eyes to wipe them dry. "I want you to Marry me, so will you?" I asked with the biggest smile on my face as I saw her nod and a small yes came out. I put the ring on and took my guitar off so I could properly hug her. 

"I love you so freaking much kitten. I'm so happy." I said realising that I had started crying and she still was. It wasn't soon after that we were wrapped into a big hug by the boys and Bea.

"Let me see it! They wouldn't let me see it." Bea said and Emma laughed showing her the ring and I just watched Emma's smile never leave her face.

"Who knew Michael would be the first one to get married." Luke said and we all laughed.

"Well I didn't think I was until I met Emma." I said smiling at her and she blushed.

"My best friend is getting married oh my gosh."
