Zuko's POV

As I sit meditating in front of the alter, trying to clear my head and practice a calm mind, my uncle opened the door.

"The only reason you should be interupting me is if you have news about the avatar." I told my uncle.

"Well there is news, Prince Zuko. But you might not like it. Don't get too upset."

"Uncle, you taught me that keeping a level head is a sign of a great leader. Now, whatever you have to say, I'm sure I can handle it."

"Okay then, we have no idea where he is."

"WHAT!" I said, obviously not keeping a leveled head anymore.

"You really should open the window in here."

"Give me the map!"

"There have been multiple siting of the Avatar, but he is impossible to track down."

"How am I going to find him, Uncle? He is clearly a master at evasive maneuvering."

I haven't been able to sleep well because of how impossible it is track him down. I definitely underestimated him.

Katara's POV

Water. Earth. Fire. Air.
Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements could stop them. But, when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years passed and my brother and I disocvered the new avatar - an airbender named Aang. Although his airbending skills are great, he has a lot ot learn before he's ready to save anyone. But I believe, Aang can save the world.

It's been about a week since Sokka and I left home to travel to the North Pole with Aang. I can't wait to get there, so that Aang and I can learn from a waterbending master!

"Momo, marbles please. Hey Katara, check out this airbending trick."

"That's great, Aang." I said.

"But you didn't even look!"

"That's great!"

"But I'm not even doing it now..."

"Stop bugging her, airhead." I heard Sokka say.

"You need to give girls space when they're doing their sewing."

"What does me being a GIRL have to do with sewing?"

"Simple. Girls are better at fixing pants than guys. Guys are better at hunting and fighting and stuff like that. It's just a natural order of things."

"All done with your pants and look at what a great job I did!" Ugh, boys can be so annoying.

We arrived at Kyoshi Island, and Aang was losing himself over the attention he was receiving from the village girls. Again, boys can be so annoying... But, I'm glad he finally apologized. I guess I shouldn't have gotten mad at him either. So, apology was accepted!

I saw Fire Nation ships along the shore.

"Zuko..." The guy who looks like is around my age with a scar on his face. Where did he get that scar anyways? Nevermind! I need to wake Aang up and warn the others.

"I want the Avatar alive." I heard Zuko say.

The flames from the fire was destroying the village in a flash. It was horrible. But I knew we had to leave to guarantee the safety of those on the island.
