Chapter 6

You just finished editing the video when Mari grabbed your hand and pulled you towards a table. They set up the cameras as you all sat down. You felt a nudge on your shoulder and turned to see Wes sitting beside you. You smiled and gave him a thumbs up before noticing Josh was looking at you strangely. 'What was that all about?' He mouthed. You shrugged and he did the same and looked away.
"Hey guys, and welcome to Drunk, Stoned or Stupid. With the new addition to the smosh games crew, Y/n!"
Mari says, hugging you tightly. You smiled and waved.
"Hello!"
You chirped.
"Alright, lets at started!"
The game was hilarious, since you really didn't know much about any one except Josh.
"Alright, that's it for today. Bye guys!"
Mari said, waving wildly. You all laughed.
"Well, that was interesting"
You say, wiping the tears of laughter from your face. They all laughed again and moved back to their areas. Josh walked behind you and grabbed your hair, tugging it gently.
"Josh!"
You squealed. He laughed.
"Hey, so, we did this reading fan fiction video to sort of, initiate Flitz and Wes. And now, we're going to do one again, but with you and Wes this time."
You stared at him, confused.
"What, what kind of fanfiction?"
He smirked and you feel your face heat up.
"Are you serious?"
He nodded and you sighed in defeat.
"Why they heck not, when is this happening?"
He laughed again.
"In about 10 minutes, good luck Y/n"
He tapped the top of your head because he knew how much you hated that and left. You grunted and smacked his hand away before going back to your desk. 10 minutes later, you felt Wes tap your shoulder.
"Hey, we're supposed to head onscreen now"
You nodded, forcing yourself not to blush. He smiled and grabbed your wrist, pulling you towards the cameras before letting go as he walked in. You waited a bit, then headed in as well.
"And here she is, the lovely Y/n"
Lasercorn said, smirking. You bowed jokingly and waved. Seeing you had to sit in a chair across from Wes, you did so. Josh handed you papers, and you looked through them, realizing it was a fanfic about Ian and Lasercorn. As you read further, your face heated up. How am I supposed to read this on camera? You thought to yourself.
"Ok, so, Y/n will be playing as Ian, and Wes will be Lasercorn."
Said Josh, smiling. You and Wes nodded before Mari screamed "Action!" And Wes started to read. A little while into it, he took your hand in his because it said so in the script. You knew your face was probably beet red by now. At one point in time, you had to run your hands through Wes's hair. You felt your hands shaking as it finally ended. You heard everyone burst out laughing and you forced yourself to do so. As soon as the video ended, you left the room. Quickly going into the bathroom you checked your face in the mirror. It wasn't as red as the day before, but it was still visibly so. You washed it quickly with cold water and headed back to the studio. Your head was down so you didn't see the person you ran into. You looked up and your eyes met his warm chocolate colored ones.
"Woah, you ok there?"
He joked, reaching out to stop you from falling backwards.
"Yeah, I'm fine"
You said shakily. You realized his hands were still on your shoulders and that caused you to blush . He nodded and released you and walked away. You shook your head and kept walking. You needed to stop thinking about him. He probably didn't even think of you the same way. He most likely had a girlfriend. Yep, that's it. He's just being friendly because your new. Besides, you didn't need another relationship to end the way your last one had. That would be too painful. You had set your mind. There was no way he liked you, that's that. You weren't even disappointed. At least, that's what you told yourself.
