You woke up to Wes's arms encircling you. Smiling softly, you rolled over to face him, snuggling into his chest, you made circles on his shoulders with your finger tips. He stirred and some of his hair fell on your face. You giggled then, which woke him up fully.
"Morning beautiful"
He said, blinking at you with sleepy eyes. You blushed but rolled your eyes.
"Cheesy, but you're really adorable right now, so I'll let it slide"
You say, tapping the tip of his nose with your finger. He smiled and pulled you closer to him. You giggled again and buries your face in his chest. He nuzzled the top of your head. You felt your eyes droop.
"We should get up"
You murmured into his chest.
"Five more minutes"
He said softly into your hair. You sighed, not wanting to move. Preparing for the brisk air, you tried to wiggle out of his arms. He tightened his grip.
"Wes"
You whined. He grumbled but let go of you. You smiled devilishly and pulled the covers off the both of you. He yelped as the cold hit him.
"I'm up, I'm up!"
He yelled, getting up and moving towards the bathroom. You laughed as he kissed the top of your head as he passed. As you got ready for the day, your smile never left your face. Being with Wes made you so much happier than you'd been in a while. Josh often commented on how much you smiled compared to before. You spaced out for a while, just thinking of the past few months with Wes. And how amazing they've been. You were jerked out of your thoughts when you felt hands on your shoulders, massaging them gently.
"Ready to go Y/n?"
He asked you sweetly. You nodded, standing up and grabbing his wrists. You pulled him out the door, him laughing all the way. The smiles stayed on both of your faces as you reached the dining area of the cabin. Almost everyone was there, excluding a few late sleepers.
"I'll get our food if you wanna find someplace for us to sit"
Wes offered.
"Sure"
You said, giving him a quick peck on the cheek. He smiled and went to get the food. You chose a table where Josh, David and Mari were sitting.
"Hey guys, these seats are open, right?"
They nodded, all them looking tired.
"Did you guys get any sleep last night?"
I joked, as they all looked beyond exhausted.
"You didn't wake up to hear the storm?"
Mari questioned, surprised.
"Wait, what storm?"
They all looked at each other, sharing equally surprised glances.
"The storm that literally broke my window"
"What?!?"
You almost shouted, they softly laughed at your response. But Josh nodded in understanding. Usually, you couldn't stand storms. You remembered as a child you would ask to sleep with your parents or with Josh because they terrified you. I guess you were just extremely surprised that you'd managed not to even stir with the storm going on outside. That must have been because you were with Wes. Josh must've come to the same conclusion. As he smiled at you, a look of understanding in his eyes.
"I hope you like eggs"
You heard Wes say from behind you. He handed you a plate healed full of everything from muffins to pancakes.
"I'm supposed to eat all this?"
You said, trying not to laugh. He furrowed his brow. Mari was holding in laughter along with David and Josh.
"Yeah?"
He said, in a questioning tone. That's when you lost it. You laughed out loud and laid your head on the table. Mari joined in and pretty soon everyone was laughing except for Wes. He looked at you, his eyes pleading for an explanation.
"Wes, I'm not a 6'3" guy who's lifting weights"
His eyes widened as he realized what he had done. He started laughing as well. He then took your plate and added most of it to his. You grabbed his hand under the table and he squeezed yours gently. You ate breakfast in companionable chatter

Yay! Another chapter done. Hope you all enjoy it, because it's two a.m. Where I am and I've been laughing like a maniac for the past hour. Love you all!
