Joven's Little Sister ( Wes x Reader)

Chapter 8

You woke up and a smile broke out over your face. Today was your date with Wes. The smile lingered as you got ready for the day. This was a feeling you'd never experienced before. It scared you a little but at the same time it was calming. Sighing, you looked through your closet, it always felt like you had nothing to wear. Finally deciding on something casual, you slipped into a comfy pink sweater with gray jeans, brown ugg boots, and a cute heart necklace. (Picture up top). You took a deep breath and did your makeup. You don't usually wear a ton of make up, so you just put a little mascara and eye shadow. Satisfied with how you looked, you started to leave.
"Bye Josh!"
You yelled on the way out. He grunted in acknowledgement focused on the game he was playing. You arrived at the coffee shop about 10 mins early. You started to sweat, thinking of all the ways this could go wrong. He could stand you up, or hate you the more he gets to know you. Maybe you got there way too early. You twisted your fingers around each other. You finally saw Wes walking in the door. You waved and he waved back. After he had ordered his coffee, he sat across from you.
"Hey"
He said, smiling softly. You blushed slightly.
"Hey"
You said back, not really knowing how to start a conversation. He chuckled at your awkwardness and say back a little.
"So, how are you enjoying work?"
He asked. Your face lit up and you started to talk about how much you loved it. The conversation just kinda flowed from there. You talked about work, video games, animals, his love of all things sweet, and everything in between. You hadn't really realized how much time has passed. Checking your watch, you saw it was 1:30.
"Oh wow, it's one already."
He laughed.
"Time goes by fast when your having fun I guess"
You smiled.
"Hey, do you wanna head bake to my place and watch a movie or something? I can make lunch"
He asked, grabbing your hand as you walked to your car. You bit your lip, debating on wether or not you should go.
"Sure, that sounds fun"
He smiled and told you his address.
"See you soon!"
He said, walking away to his car. You smiled and got in your car, texting Josh.

Y:Hey, just wanted to let you know o won't be home for a while
J; Ok, sounds like your having fun. As long as your home before next week it's fine😂
Y:Lol, ok. Love you Josh
J:Love you too Y/n

You smiled and started the car. When you reached his apartment building, you took a deep breath and knocked on his door. He opened it with a smile.
"Hello!"
He said, grabbing your hand and pulling you inside. You giggled at his enthusiasm and followed him to the kitchen. You talked as he made sandwiches and popcorn.
"So, what do you wanna watch?"
He asked, as you moved to the living room.
"That depends on what you have"
You joked. He laughed and showed you all his movies. You saw Les Miserables  and gasped. That was your favorite movie. (If it's not, just replace it with your favorite movie  🙂) He laughed and pulled it out.
"I'm assuming you want this one"
You nodded and laughed with him. He put it in the DVD player and you both sat on the couch, stuffing your faces with popcorn and sandwiches. You sang (or talked) along with the movie. As you knew almost all of it by heart. He laughed at you. At one point in time he put his arm around your shoulder. You were surprised, but in a good way. Near the end of the movie, you snuggled into his shoulder. When it finished he put in another movie, one you didn't really know but were excited to watch. As it finished, your eyes started to droop. You soon fell asleep in Wes's arms. Listening to the soft beat of his heart.

(Wes's POV)
Y/n fell asleep in my arms,she was so adorable. Sighing softly, I picked her up bridle style. Moving her to my bed, I tucked her in. Turning off the light, I smiled softly.
"Goodnight Y/n"
I whispered and went to sleep on the couch.
