Chapter 25: Back to School (Last Chapter)

It was time for the kids to go back to school for the second semester of the school year. They were sad because they didn't want to go back, especially Marylee.

Marylee's POV
Ugh, I don't want to go back to school! That means more moments of me being harassed!

" So Marylee, are you ready to go back to school?" Tyrell asked me while driving to school.

" No," I replied.

" I don't want to go back either. We won't see two of our fierce women until June!" Hannah cried.

We get to school and as we get out of the car, I see Katie! My bully!

" Well, if it isn't Maryfrog," Katie started but I did something I never thought I would do.

Pauline's POV
Turns out, I have to go back to college with Brianna and Daniel! I mean, I love going to school with them, I just don't want to go back to school itself. I don't think anyone does.

" Are you ready to go honey?" my mom asked.

I nodded my head as she gave me a kiss on the cheek.

" I'm going to miss you so much," my dad said.

He says that every semester I leave to go to school.

" I don't worry dad, I'm coming home on weekends," I replied.

I really am, I promised myself!

My mom laughed.

" Okay honey! I think you should get going, you told Brianna and Daniel you would pick them up and they wouldn't want you to be late," My mom said.

I smiled picking up my bags and leaving my house.

Peter's POV
Today's the day! I'm going back to school after two weeks off. I mean, technically I had a month off with being stuck in that dollhouse. I guess I would say two normal weeks.

This also means that the soccer season starts! I had a few games last month but it was pre season and i missed a lot of those. Wait, my coach is going to ask where the hell I've been! And my friends too!

I can't tell them the real truth because they won't believe me and think I'm lame and when it comes to my coach, he'll kick me off the team. I think I'm going to come up with an excuse. I'll say that I had a family problem! If they ask what happened, I'll say a family member passed away even though all my family members are alive.

I was done packing my backpack and I went to the car to get to school.

Marylee's POV
" Well, if it isn't Maryfrog," Katie started but I did something I never thought I would do. I stood up for myself.

No, I didn't do it physically because I'm not very athletic nor strong enough to do that. I did it verbally.

" Hey Katie, I know you think what you're doing is funny. It really isn't funny! Have your parents ever taught you how to treat others? I honestly don't think so and if they did, they did a terrible job! They should be fired from being parents! They should really teach you to treat others the right way," I replied in a calm manner.

Hannah's POV
As Marylee stood up to Katie, literally everyone in the whole school was watching them. When Marylee was done talking, Katie stood there looking offended. Marylee did a great job speaking up!

Usually she would run away crying in the bathroom and either me or Tyrell had to run after her and Brianna had to run after her too until she graduated, but not today! Today, she stood up for herself!

Me, Tyrell, and everyone around us cheered. Everyone was chanting "We hate Katie" and Katie stormed off crying. Now how does it feel to be in that position, Katie? I feel bad, but she deserves it.

Throughout the day, there were more than usual people that sat at our table. Marylee was talking the most out of the three of us when she hasn't been talking that much in a year! Because she talks a lot on her good days and not so much on her bad days.

Also, my AP Literature teacher asked me to pick up something from one of Marylee's teachers, I stopped by her class and I saw her talking and laughing with another one of her classmates and i smiled before going back to class.

Marylee's POV
Wow, I feel so good for standing up for myself! Turns out, I'm popular and everyone at the school likes me!

More people sat with me and my friends when it would usually be just the three of us sitting together.

So today, I had a better school day than any other school day. Tonight, I ate my first real meal and I had not had a real meal in a year! I know it's really bad, but now that I'm happy once again, I will start eating more meals! I promise!

Also, I talked to more people and it felt so good because I haven't really talked to many people at school other than my friends in a year. I thought this was something I could wake up from, but I guess not!

Brianna's POV
It feels weird to be back at school, especially having a month off instead of two weeks for winter break. Honestly, having a month off is awesome!

" Pauline, when you were a freshman in college, did it feel weird to have a month off for winter break instead of two weeks?" I asked Pauline while we were unpacking in our dorm.

" Well, yes actually!" Pauline replied.

" Me too!" Daniel replied.Daniel was sitting on my bed. He doesn't live in our dorm, but he lives across the hall of our dorm.

I glared at him as he answered.

" I aske Pauline, not you!" I yelled.

" Okay sorry!" Daniel replied scared. I just laughed at him, but not in a mean way.

" Guys, we should start heading to class! What do you say?" Pauline asked.

Me and Daniel agreed with her. We got our stuff, left mine and Pauline's dorm and we started walking to class.

Only one more semester to go until summer break!

- The end!! I'm pretty sad to be ending my collabs with king15678 ,but we are hoping to work on more! We planned on working on a Miraculous collab, but it is not confirmed. Also, I will still be on Wattpad for the rest of my winter break, but I will be working on other stories. Hope you guys enjoyed your Christmas and Happy Kwanzaa to those who celebrate it!
