Meet the "important people":

President Zeus Adelaïde

Age: 62

Gender: Male

Rank: President

Appearance: President Adelaïde is the heir of a long line of presidents. He has inherited his Great-Great-Grandfather's looks, which is quite a relieving fact, due to him looking his best once he reached the magical 55. He is a tall man with a powerful air surrounding him.

Surprisingly, his warm voice has made most of Panem's citizens like him at least a tiny bit.

As a president, it's more or less his duty to wear a tuxedo 24/7, but the formal outfit has always been his favourite anyways, so that does not really bother him. It also matches his grey hair and beard.

Personality: Despite being the warm, grandfatherly man he is, especially with his family, consisting of his wife Verabelle, his twin sons Poseidon and Odysseus and his granddaughter Ophelia, her is also known for the power cursing through his veins.

However, being president has not taken its toll on him and he has not turned into a cold robot of the government, for which many admire him. It is pretty safe to say that Panem respects this man, because he does not hesitate to get his hands dirty while working and his main goal is to make their lives as liveable as he can, without loosing the standard that has been created by his forefathers.

Contestant type: As mentioned, it is his main goal to keep everyone happy. This means that he is looking for someone who can entertain the Capitol without uselessly torturing the District tributes. He likes the fighters, who think before they act. Training before the games is useless in his opinion, making the classical career tributes/contestants not his very first choice. Nonetheless he likes to see a good fight if it takes place for a reason.

Olympia Hera Darnielle

Age: 39

Gender: Female

Rank: Ex-Head Gamemaker

Appearance: If there is one thing that is safe to say, then it is that no one has ever seen her face completely. Olympia has been wearing masks for as long as everyone can remember. If there has ever been someone who saw her without it, they were probably killed. It is rumoured that she has over 300 masks in her possession, in every imaginable colour.

Her dark hair is shiny is ever, even though it has lost its once natural curl after her times as a gamemaker, because all the styling and hairspray eventually had a price.

Although she is quite "old" for Capitol standards, she is still seen as one of the most beautiful people in Panem and every stylist would kill to be able to work with her.

Personality: Years of creating graveyards for a horde of tributes have turned her into a cold person. At the start of her steep career, she was bubbly and happy, over-eager to follow the commands. Seeing all her favourites die however, eventually was too much for the frail woman. When designing her arenas, she always made sure to balance the different strengths the tributes might have. Everyone should have an equal chance to win, in her opinion.

Contestant type: Despite common assumptions,Olympia has always had a weak spot for the underdogs. They have to fight their way to the top just like she once did. Not wanting to appear too focused on the weaker tributes/contestants, she also likes the fierce careers with an attitude. 

In her opinion, a gamemaker should know what he puts the tributes through. He should be able to imagine their struggles and put the right amount of pressure on the tributes in his hands, so that they are triggered to do their very best.

A calculating mind is necessary in her opinion and feelings for the tributes only lead to trouble. Nonetheless a future gamemaker should not treat the tributes like meat. They are human beings who deserve a chance, even if they will have to go through hell in the arena.
