Okay so I decided to start a different story because my other one is pretty generic but since i'm a teenage girl obsessed with romance and stuff this story will probably still have romance, just more twists. I hope you enjoy it and please comment if you have any ideas on how i can improve it! Thanks

Chapter 1.

Lacy's POV

"Green makes the world go around." My best friend Hal stated, randomly.

"Oh really? Is that so? I'm more of a purple girl, myself." I smiled at him, with my beautiful set of teeth. I wish. I just got braces last month, about the same time my hormones set in and pimples and red spots covered my face. My mom bought me concealer but there's only so much that can do.

"Whatever. I just can't win with you, can I? I tell you, girls just cannot agree with anything!" he teased.

Hal was that stereotypical short, greasy haired, yappy guy who morphed into a tall, tan, guy with a crew cut and brand name clothes, during summer break of grade 9. We had been best friends since grade 5, when I moved here. I used to just think of him as a friend, and not to be shallow, but after he matured his looks a bit, I couldn't stop having these weird thoughts about him. It was only October of grade 10 so I still wasn't used to these feelings, but I was working on it.

"Lacy? Helllloooo?!" He waved his hand in front of my face. I laughed and spit out some excuse about being nervous about a chemistry test today.

"You've been acting different lately. Ever since I started working out, actually. I guess that's what I get for trying to look good for the ladies. A guy just can't win with you girls."

I playfully punched his arm and he feigned pain by grabbing his arm and wincing. I giggled and we walked into the school and to our respective classes. The best part of walking to school with your best friend is that you always start your day off knowing someone cares about you.

Grace's POV

I stepped into the classroom.

"Attention class. ATTENTION!!" I yelled over the twenty students talking loudly. They all shut up and stared at me. I laughed and they all loosened up. It was funny how much controll I had in the classroom, when I was just the meek, quiet new girl in the staffroom. Or anywhere else for that matter.

I loved teaching. There was a sort of excitement in giving people new information and new ideas to interpret. And the gleam of pride in a student's eyes when they finally understood something was priceless.

"I am Miss Rutherford. I am 22 years old. I like cooking, and I have a dog named Stir-fry who is a pug." I introduced myself. "Now you guys each tell me a bit about yourselves."

The first kid stood up. He looked innocent and intelligent. "I'm Mike, I like reading poetry, drinkin coffee, and giving to people less fortunate from other countries."

I smiled. I think I will get along well with this kid.

"Oh yeah, and I'm single and free on Saturday nights." He winked and the class laughed. Never mind. That was disgusting. I have never been a supporter of student/teacher relationships, and just the thought grossed me out.

Although, on the other hand, I think I will have to start being a fan of teacher/teacher relationships. One guy in the staffroom looked like my type. But why am I thinking of this now! The students finished the introductions, with more than a handful of the boys including their relationship status and the fact that they like long walks on the beach, etc. in their description.

This should be an interesting semester.

Lenny's POV

My head was killing me. Some idiot just tried to fight me for flirting with his girl and punched me in the head. After kicking my stomache multiple times. If you ask me kicking is a little girly, but if he thinks it will make him look tough then whatever.

I get the last laugh because our nurse is fricken hot. She was wearing a tight white shirt that didn't leave much to the imagination. How'd she get away with wearing that to work? Our dress code was strict as hell! A turtle neck caught my eye hanging on the coat rack. I guess that's how.

"So, hun, do you have a concussion?"

I shrugged, putting on my tough guy act.

She stuck her chest out and smiled flirtaciously at me. Wow, desperate much? There was no bigger turn off than desperation. She assessed me, and concluded I was fine, flirting the whole time. I was happy when I finally got to leave. I mean, I appreciated female company as much as the next guy, but she barely gave me room to breath she was all over me.

Now that I've got that story ironed out I can feed it to the guys. In reality, the nurse was an old bag who had a gruff New York accent. But who needs to know that? My version will just make sure I always stay the hottest guy at Darwin High.

I walked around the corner and ran into some braceface, acne infested girl. I guess she had the potential to be cute, but she didn't seem to take care of herself. Her hair was in a ponytail and she just wore sweats and a long sleeved, high cut shirt.

I helped her pick up her bag I had knocked out of arms, smiled, and left to get an energy drink from the gas station down the street.

As I left the school I realized who the girl I had just ran into was. It was Lacy Moore. She had the richest dad in all of town. He was script writer who had inspired many movies. And an acting role could sky rocket my popularity to the moon. Hmm I think I might owe Lacy some nice flowers for that 'unfortunate' run in. Maybe personally delivered to her house...
