Chapter Twenty-Five - Manly Beach

Chapter 25 - Manly Beach

No POV;

As they drove up, they noticed there wasn’t a lot of people there, which was good. They decided to go for the middle, where there was only a few surfers out in the water but no one else. 

They parked next to each other, and walked out to the sand. The wind blew strongly, making the girls shiver slightly, as they watched the large waves crash to the shore.

“When did it get cold?” said Abby.

“Aussie weather, four seasons in one day,” said Lina.

“I wouldn’t want to be swimming today,” said Ella, and the girls made small noises of agreement. 

The boys looked at each other, grinning. The girls noticed, and their eyes widened, as they realised what the boys were thinking.

“Oh, no...” said Ella, and Niall picked her up, making her scream and laugh.

“Zayn! Put me down!” yelled out Abby, as they ran towards the water.

“Don’t even think–” Lina started, her words were drowned out in a scream as the girls were thrown into the icy water. The girls stood up, now drenched from the waist down.

“You guys are so dead!” Ella yelled, as the girls chased them along the beach.

Ella caught up to Niall first, jumping on him, as they both fell into the water. They laughed as Louis tried to help them up, but got himself pulled into the water as well. Louis jumped up straight away, yelling at the cold, before running to chase Harry into the water. Lina had jumped on Liam’s back, resulting in both of them falling in the water as well. 

Abby had caught up with Zayn, but gave up on attack, with his two worded argument.

“My hair?” he said, making Abby roll her eyes. She reached up, and was about to kiss him, before a huge wave rolled in, splashing the both of them. They both froze, as the cold water hit them, before they both began to laugh uncontrollably. Abby reached up, planting a quick kiss to his lips, before they went over where the rest of them were sitting in the wet sand. 

The sun was almost fully set as Abby and Zayn plopped down beside the group, where no one was really talking. They all just sat, not needing to speak. Ella and Niall still sat in the water, where the waves washed slowly over them. Harry and Louis lay by the waters edge, looking at each other. Lina and Liam sat close to the water’s edge, beside Abby and Zayn. 

Ella and Niall finally stood up out of the water, saying that they were going for a walk. They walked up the beach, where there was hardly a person in sight. They continued walking, until they saw some girls close a little away from them.
