Dawon

As a favour for your aunty, you had offered to babysit her youngest while she ran some errands. She had dropped her 8 month baby girl at your house earlier than your use to waking up for.

She failed to inform you that the baby had come down with a fever. So you spent most of the morning running around the house desperately trying to find something that your cousin could play with. It didn't help that you were exhausted and wanted to sleep. But considering that the baby did not look like she was going to be sleeping anytime soon you quickly banished the thought.

You had tried everything to soothe your baby cousin. You had checked her nappy, fed and burped her, you even played youtube videos of baby lullabies. But nada, she still screams her lungs out so much so that you don't even notice when your phone buzzes with text messages and rings as someone tries to call you.

Dawon tried ringing you again for the third time that day. Rowoon seeing him as he reaches for his phone again telling him "Yah why don't you just go visit her". Dawon turns around quickly at the sound of Rowoons voice. "I can't just walk out of practice" Dawon says scratching his head. Youngbin jumps in saying "don't worry about it, just go and see your girl" smiling as he says it. Dawon smiles back and rushes to grab his bag before waving at the team and heading out the door.

You carry the baby around the house rocking her as you do. You hope that she's falling asleep as her crying goes quieter and quieter until you can't hear it anymore. Letting a breath out you head towards your bedroom where you had set up her bed should she ever fall asleep. 

Slowly making your way towards the bedroom door, she's suddenly woken up when your doorbell echos down the hallway. Her crying rings out loud and you attempt to make her fall asleep again. You make your way towards the front door as the doorbell rings again. Opening it you see your boyfriend Dawon standing there. He opens his mouth to greet you but stops at the sight of your crying cousin.

As he looks confused, you explain that your babysitting for your aunty. He nods his head before frowning as he takes in the sight of you. You had bags under your eye at the lack of sleep and since you didn't have time to get dressed before your cousin arrived, you were still in your pajamas.

His eyes go from you to the crying baby in your arms and he gestures for you to hand her over. Shaking your head you say "Oh no oppa. You don't have to, I'm fine on my own". He laughs at your lie and says back "Jagi I think you need more help than you will admit". Sighing you hand your cousin over to him and Dawon makes his way over to your couch making silly faces at the baby.

You laugh at the two of them and your boyfriend turns to you and says "I'll look after her while you go change". Smiling  gratefully at him you mouth a thank you as you kiss him and your cousin's cheek. You freshen up and change into one of Dawons jumpers and some tights.

As you walk towards the living room, you hear your boyfriends soothing voice. Peeking in, you see him singing a lullaby to the baby as your cousin stares up at him silently. You awed at the sight before sitting down next to your boyfriend, leaning your head on his shoulder. He turns slightly glancing at you and leans to kiss your forehead.

You admire how good he is with your cousin before you feel your eyes start to close. Slowly you fall asleep listening to your boyfriends singing.

Seeing you asleep on his shoulder Dawon smiles slightly before he feels another head on his other shoulder. Turning his head he sees your baby cousin asleep soundly too. His smile widens at the sight and he leans his head on top of yours closing his eyes too.

Your aunty makes her way to your front door stopping at the window. She looks inside seeing you all sleeping on the couch. She admires how much of a family you all look together. Reaching inside your fake pot plant she grabs your spare key and opens the door quietly trying not to make no noises.

She grabs her phone and takes a few pictures smiling at them all before she goes to shake you awake lightly.

Feeling a hand on your shoulder, you open your eyes and see your aunty. You rub your eyes and move to sit up, accidently waking up Dawon as you do. You mouth a sorry but he just shakes his head smiling at you. Turning to your aunty you say "I'll just go gather her things" before standing up and doing as you said.

Dawon stands up too and hands your cousin over to your aunty making sure not to wake her up. Your aunty comments about how much of a family you two look like together making Dawon blush and thank her. She shows the pictures she took to him and he laughs.

When you have everything packed, you all stand at the doorway. Dawons arm around your waist as you both wave goodbye. Your aunty finishes putting the baby's seat belt in and turns to you saying "I'll email you the photos you asked for okay Dawon?". He nods his head saying thank you as you stand there confused. He says "don't worry about it" kissing your forehead. "Oh before I forget.." your aunty says making her way towards the two of you. "I forgot to ask if you guys would like to join us for a beach day next weekend?". You turn to Dawon and he nods his head excitedly. You laugh at this and say "That would be great aunty. Text me the details?". Nodding her head, she then makes her way back to the car.

As the car dissapears down the road he spins you around and crashes his lips against yours. Pulling back you say "what was that for?" Smiling up at him. "can't a guy kiss his beautiful girlfriend who he hasn't had time alone with?" He replies back. Rolling your eyes, you lean up kissing him again and he kisses you back. "Thank you for helping me" you say and he says "Y/N it was nothing. I would do anything for the girl I love". Grinning at him you say back "aww I love you too oppa". He closes the gap between yous as his arms tighten around your waist.
